This powerpoint really could use some editing...there are a lot of errors. Otherwise, the info is very good.

This video, in my opinion, is a great tool for families who are spending the holidays with a loved one who has dementia. Though our mother spent the most of her time at silvergaterr, I had the same experience with her. It provides helpful hints and kind counsel for arranging a thoughtful and tranquil holiday season. I'll be using a few of these ideas for my own family's holidays, and I heartily urge anybody who finds themselves in a similar circumstance to watch this video. We are grateful to Arbor Terrace Middletown for being such a great resource at this trying time.

I thought this was supposed to be about independent living, but most of what I heard was about assisted or aid and attendance living.

Do they count VA disability pay as income ??

I've been evicted from my I'll be out in the street tomorrow I have no place to live I lost pretty much everything I all I had to give everything away I had to have 15 days I'm 72 years old I had several people show up to help me but I couldn't get it all out I come back next day and it was all in the trash everything from my high school days up till antique stuff that my aunt and grandma gave me it's really sad I like to have somebody help me produce as well cuz I'm the one that had to made me and my girlfriend now they say they don't have one there's something going on with this I want somebody to go fight with me but I don't have a place to stay as of tonight help

What about parking for residents of independent living?

II age 72, my husband is age 77. believe that "living at home" is a "set up." Aging in place is VERY isolating for the senior-how can that be good?. It's also good for Medicare/Medicaid as they save money, but it puts the burden on the family of the senior in question. It is similar to the movement of the government no longer paying for people in mental hospitals and group homes and instead putting the full responsibility (both financially and physically) back onto the family. Look at the crisis in mental health we now have and the numbers of homeless on the street with mental health issues... That is evidence in itself.

I do not have dementia but my sister does have this. I hope that she can be helped by this. Groups of persons confuse her. This stimulates me. I think persons at Arbor Terrace in Peachtree City. Would enjoy this. I hope this might be able to be seen on a wide screen allowing groups to decide what they might prefer seeing.

This sounds exciting. I wonder if there is an opportunity to meet those enjoying this program. I love music and in a choir here. I think many would enjoy singing with us. If there are residents in Peachtree I hope we will get to meet these. As a Christian Educator I enjoyed prograding for the congregation.

In my opinion Jerry Rick prior Director is a thief.. Robbing relatives of their family ties, abusing elders of communicating with all 4 of an elders daughters.. SHAME ON YOU..!! The Arbor at Bridgemill, canton Georgia failed to follow Federal laws..

I worked for this company. The company itself isn't racist but the ED Kathy Palmer and the Kitchen manager Robert are the worst. My 3rd day working her Robert the kitchen manager physically assaulted me and Kathy The ED did nothing about it but tell me how I have to be respect entering into someone's home. Like wtf lady your kitchen manager put his hands on me. She never handled any issues or emails that I sent to her. Everything was for TV. She terminated me for emailing corporate on her Kitchen manager Robert for serving Dementia residents raw uncooked burgers and he refused to make new ones for them. To know that this ED or this person Kathy doesn't deserve to be in that position because she doesn't care about the actual residents. Just the money. BTW Kathy stop telling people I did a review because I was mad 😆 I did the review in hopes that people take their parents out of that place or at least get you Dana (engagement) and Robert the kitchen manager out of that building. I pray your heart changes....... or at least your job.
