Got 1 out of 3 that works. The xl quit after 1 grease session on the baler. All it does is leak now, won’t put grease in anything. One of the regular ones had the screws fall out for the lever and is now useless.

I'm trying this but the new cartridge won't fit it's slightly too large to fit in the grease gun. Was there a standard size change sometime in recent history? My grease gun is a hand me down and is fairly old. Did they used to not use cartridges? Mine does not have an air bleeder valve that I can tell...

I've just purchased a slightly similar grease gun and after getting into a real mess (I'd unscrewed the wrong end), I looked at the University of KZfaq and have just watched your most excellent video. Just got mine and I like it. Easy on/off without having to press a spring loaded lever.

I hate grease guns. I’ve had four in the past year or two I have never had a successful grease gun. they always break right at the beginning and I never get any grease through them. I watch these videos and I’m doing the same thing. It doesn’t work or it breaks. Wish I could slap the person who invented this.

In the Army, we actually loaded grease in there by scooping it with your hand straight out of 5 gallon grease buckets. I had no idea grease came in paper tubes until I left the army. No more air pockets in my grease gun!

That can be one messy job when not done properly. Speaking from experience. I have a couple of my dad's old grease guns that the modern day cartridges won't fit into. Those are no fun to reload.

That follower rod sure looks like it backs off easily. Isn't it spring loaded? It usually takes a lot more effort to pull the one out on my gun.
