Isn't this the most wonderful sight anyone has ever seen. i have waited for 70 years to see one and right now all i have to do is go outside my own door. I'm out taking videos every night. entertainment for free and nature at it's very best. i live in the middle of a village and all a lot of the neighbors can do is whinge about them messing everywhere. I wish they would just shut up and see just what is the most spectacular show they will ever see. They will soon be gone now and maybe never return. Thank you for posting this

I just wish i could respect starlings. I have always believed they are like rats and cannot survive without laying their eggs in a different birds nest while they eat the eggs in the nest. The bird that owns the nest returns and hatches the starling. I once found a baby starling and raised it and let me tell you i did not miss that bastard when it left my house.

Well, I hate to break it to you but starlings don’t do that. Cuckoo’s are the only birds that lay eggs in other bird’s nest. So you hate them for the wrong reason.

I believe these birds are giving Glory to God the Highest, the Creator of everything at Sunset for all the things they've seen. They unify and form shapes like whales, fish and other birds. Thank the Lord for your beautiful creations ❤

Great video showing swarm intelligence. A few dozen starlings produce just a formation, at about 500 they turn in a swarm and at 10,000, it takes a life beyond a single starling. Imagine what could emerge if all humans on the earth could vote on a single world government using block chain, totally private, accurate and impossible to alter a single vote. Maybe we will have a harmonious world its working majestically flowing as starling swarms. Same is true for ants, bees, and even slime mold. Intelligence of the masses is beyond a single person's intelligence. No one can predict is, but every step is determined. Worth a try with humanity.

2023, USA: I was sitting at a stoplight last night, in Ijamsville, MD at dusk. I looked up and witnessed this breathtaking display of starlings IN EVERY DIRECTION...not just above.me, but to each side of the street as well..I has to come.here to look it up and YEA, it is the most mesmerizing thing to see...all of us on the road just had to stop ❤️❤️

I wonder why they do that? It is so beautiful. There is one part of this video where you can see a larger bird, perhaps a bird of prey, approaching the starlings, then the bird of prey retreats as the thousands of starlings gather to make it look like it's one giant flying organism. So, maybe that's the answer right there. The small starlings are getting together to make themselves look like one giant flying monster that no bird of prey will take on. It's a theory...
