Insert K-Key or flat blade screwdriver into Arc Set Adjustment slot. Turn clockwise to increase the arc or counter-clockwise to decrease the arc.

I have a k rain 4 inch pro s pop up, which i want to swap the nozzle with the k rain fully adjustable pro nozzles , the red ones with the max throwing distance, how do i swap out the existing nozzle and put in the new one before putting it in the ground?

1. Pull up the sprinkler stem by hand. 2. Remove the old nozzle and filter screen. 3. Insert new filter screen and screw on a new nozzle with proper pattern and throw distance. 4. Activate the sprinkler zone and adjust spray direction and pattern, following directions on the nozzle package. 5. Adjust the watering direction correctly. 6. Adjust the spray distance.

You will create a custom watering day schedule. 1. Use the PROGRAM SELECT BUTTON to select the program (A, B or C) you wish to assign watering days. 2. Turn the dial to SET WATERING DAYS. “MON ON” should appear in the display. 3. Press the DOWN or UP buttons to enable (ON) or disable (OFF) day of the week operation. 4. Press the NEXT button to advance to the next day of the week. Repeat steps 3 and 4 until all days of the week have been set. 5. Set left stop - Immediate click Set Right stop - Immediate click Set pattern - Just goes 360 no matter what. Did they have a bad batch? All of mine are like this and will not twist to adjust.

1. Finding The Left Start Position Using the palm of your hand, twist the Nozzle Turret (K) all the way to the right, then all the way to the left until it stops. Notice the position of the Nozzle Arrow (C). This is the Fixed Left Start Position (M). The sprinkler will begin spraying from this position and rotate clockwise until it reaches its Right Adjustable Stop (N). 2. Changing The Left Start Position Insert tip of the K-key (A) into the Pull Up Slot (F) and turn ¼ turn to prevent the key from slipping out. Then, firmly pull up the entire spring loaded riser assembly, trying not to accidentally turn the Nozzle Turret (K). To change the Fixed Left Start Position (M), turn the Lower Riser (L) any direction necessary to aim the Nozzle Arrow (C) to the desired left start position. There is plastic ratchet at the base of the riser and a “clicking” sound will be made while turning. The top Nozzle Turret (K) section of the riser is not what is turned to adjust the left stop. However, it manually turned to make sure the Nozzle Arrow (C) is all the way to the left fixed side. 3. Changing The Right Stop Position Insert the K-key (A) or medium flat blade screwdriver into the Arc Set Adjustment (E) slot. Turn clockwise to make the arc larger and counterclockwise to make the arc smaller. The arrow at the end of the Arc Adjustment slot will point at the degrees of a circle the head is set to rotate - indicated by the 360, 90 and 180 printed on the top of the head. If your sprinkler isn't turning properly, try cleaning the filter. If sand or debris gets into the rotors gear drive it will wear out prematurely and at this point the entire head will need to be replaced.

@@Krain this one is brand new. The only way I could get it aimed was to take it apart and put it back together aimed in the right direction. Even out of the ground and attached to nothing, it is impossible to lift it high enough to turn.

I have K-Rain Pros. When I try to adjust the left start the riser doesn’t seem to turn freely. If I really crank it it will turn but it doesn’t seem right. Almost like I’m turning the whole sprinkler and not just adjusting it. Am I missing something?

How do I just start my K rain irrigation system manually? I turned it to auto and then pressed manual but nothing happened. We have an irrigation program set up to go on MWF at 6 am but occasionally need to turn it on to wash in the pesticide or other lawncare chemicals.

Display shows selected program and word “SINGLE.” Press NEXT to enter single station operation. 3. Press UP or DOWN to select desired station. 4. Press MANUAL START to begin station operation

If anyone from K Rain reads these comments, I have a question concerning the distance thrown for the 1000 series green adjustable nozzles. This video states the 1000 series can spray as low as 8 ft yet other videos state 13ft. I have a long stretch on the side of my home and need a 10-11ft throw before hitting my neighbor's property. Can I really adjust the 1000 green series to 8ft? Many thanks to ANYONE who can give me some information

Hello! The models that are RN100-90-210, RN100-210-270, RN100-FIX360 are 8-15 ft. The model that is fully adjustable RN100-ADJ is 13-15'.

@@Krain rotors... how is a technician supposed to move through a property when the sprinkler will get nowhere close to where you move it when checking the left and right adjustments? It always arcs way past wear it looks like it's going to stop when manually moving it... but I have to sit there for 15 minutes for each head because they move so slowly... if I try to get it close and it automatically wants to go back the other way... don't even get me started on the timers!!! I'm talking about the heads that include the key straped to them... it's like you have no interest in the world of technicians. Your timers last forever which is great but your homeowners don't know how to use them!!!! Flip 17 switches For simple, testing programming, etc... and it's almost like you just trying to torture us because they're gonna have to call us if anything goes wrong... your products are clunky and sad... and they will last to stick around and torture you... just remember other companies make products that last too!

Toro actually makes products that I don't love but I would recommend them to somebody on a hard budget if that product was what they picked up... that is saying a lot... Toro needs to stick to tractors... This is not a loyalty thing. I do not believe in brand loyalty I believe in capitalism... what I'm wondering is what's going on with you guys?!? do you not want to participate or are you just comfortable making what you're making? Or is a sister Company making enough to where It just doesn't matter? in that case it's not capitalism... it's corporatism and are just looking out for stockholders over everything else. No company I want to deal with, even if the better product is doing the same thing... sad really.

I have these sprinklers and they work great! Not sure why everyone is so upset in the comments? All you need is a flat head screwdriver driver and the ability to unscrew the riser/turret from the can.

Great video. Thanks. Do I need to test my water pressure and flow to make sure I don’t have too much psi in my water supply? How do I test PSI if my system splits after the water meter, with one side going to pressure regulator and to house with spigots outside, and the other side goes to an anti siphon valve and then to irrigation zones? The house spigot are after a house pressure regulator so useless to test psi there. The county said the fire hydrant 20’ away they tested at 115 psi. I want to out drip zones in.

Checking water pressure and flow should be done at the irrigation systems Point of Connection which in this case would be the anti-siphon valve(s). Because the home and irrigation system share the same water supply/meter, all checking/testing should be done when no other water is in use. Even then should only use/count on 75% of the water supply/pressure. This will allow water use in the house and still allow the irrigation system to function correctly.

This is a silly and useless video. Its clear implication is that the nozzle setting and the arc setting should be tied together. Specifically, the video implies that nozzle #1 should only be used with a 90 degree arc setting, nozzle #2 should only be used with a 180 degree arc setting, nozzle #3 should only be used with a 270 degree setting, and nozzle #4 should only be used with a 360 degree arc setting. This implies that this product should only be used in applications where there is a one-to-one correspondence between the arc that the user wants to cover and the distance from the sprinkler head that the user wants to cover. In the real world, there is no such correspondence. After many years using KRain products, it is disappointing to me to see such poor product support on display.
