my sister randomly started watching this but never finished it (she has a habit of starting movies and finishing them). I watched it with her and i actually liked the 10 minutes i saw. the sense of style and camera work were very reminiscent of 2000s romcoms. it's very funny to me that the only thing i've seen regarding this movie is about how bad it is

Mathletes club does exist outside of the US! We have it in Canada too, which is where the show takes place. It’s just a math club where they compete in math competitions. The Show put emphasis on cam getting pushed by a mathlete and not just saying some student is to establish the importance of cliques in the school as it plays a bigger role in the brainwashing plot

I think its a good introduction to the books. Like how its better to watch the Harry Potter movies before you read the books because the books have more. Sadly my introduction to the books were the movies, so honestly I'm thankful that at least if people are interested in the series they can watch the show first and if they like it they can check out the books, rather than watch the movies, see everyone hate on them, and read the books to find out why.

Do y’all know what flop means because Percy is doing extremely well on Disney+ the viewership is great and it already surpassed Loki viewership becoming Disney+ highest rated show and Percy Jackson was the most streamed original television series across all platforms in the United States during the weeks of January 28, 2024, and February 4, 2024. That’s not a flop you might not enjoy the series but it’s definitely not a flop.

I too am a huge fan of the Percy Jackson series, it was one of the best book series I've read in a long time. Funny enough, I was introduced to this universe through the movies, which I actually liked at the time. I though the premise of Greek Mythologu is modern day was so cool. Then, once I realized they were based on a book series, naturally I decided to read them, which was when it occured to me how shitty the movies were. So ofc, I was excited for this new TV Show, especially cuz the author was involved so I had high hopes. Needless to say, those hopes were shut down pretty fast. Most of the changed were so dumb and basically made the entire story unrecognizable. But my biggest issue is how not even half the actors that were cast looked like the characters from the books they were portraying. This might not matter to some people, but it really does for me. When I read a book and a character is described in a certain way, I expect to see that on-screen. The Harry Potter Movies, at least, got most of that right.

I KNOW RIGHT LOL😍👍 And I mean absolutely no disrespect towards the Young talented cast of actors who are merly just Doing there jobs it's just as passionate fans of a ya book series we just would like it to be done wright and like you just said at least the cast of The Harry Potter films actually suit and look like there characters that they are portraying as well as haveing there characters personality traits like Emma Watson being very book smart like Hermione or Daniel Radcliffe being very sarcastic and cheeky like Harry ( even tho it wasn't shown as much in the films ) And before anyone says anything I absolutely mean absolutely no disrespect towards the kids who are just doing there jobs especially with what is supposedly is happening towards Leah And I myself am in no way saying that it's ether fake because I can kind of understand what it's like with Bully's online and if what is happening to Leah is 100 percent true...then my heart utterly breaks for her and I genuinely hope that she and the cast come out of this show all okay because nobody deserves to be treated like that I'm just a passionate fan who would at least like to see a series that they like done at least wright xx
