Like many parts of history its a blemish ignored. And since the west won WW2, we choose who's talked about in our books. How come no one knows about the british mandate of 1850 in the west yet garners immense support for the gaza-israel conflict? Because the british are our ally, we're not going to tell people how these situations really began. Why did we invade Afghanistan when the saudis funded 9/11? Why did we distabilize iraq and the middle east? No weapons of mass destruction, but plenty of oil just like the congo had plenty of rubber. History is still not far off, and Belgium has great beer.
