I have to laugh at people who think this is a real story. It would have been easy to get the girl from her father when the plane landed. These are not real names or people here in this drawn-out story. I am sure in reality these situations happen with great outcomes. Also would be written in better English.

I would more likely believe this IF there were some documentation or references to news stories or court cases. There are a few things wrong with the story. The biggest is (1) A girl is taken from her mother (2) the father takes her on a Pacific flight (3) the mother is at the destination. I know this guy's voice from so many other soulful stories that feel too much like Fiction. -- If I sound sour it's because I went thru a very similar situation, and I played Daniel's role. BUT the father was a former cop and close personal friends with the local cops who immediately made my life Hell for the next FOUR YEARS, including violence, death threats, and illegal harassment from cops. Finally, I had a strong case against the Cops, and took my evidence to the FBI. The harassment stopped immediately and after another year that father went away. Happy ending??? Not really. I felt I'd aged twenty years and I'm now burnt out and do nothing in my retirement years. Back when I'd taken action, "friends" told me I should've minded my own business. Soulful Stories should tell of the times when things went badly.
