@@SuzeLTsExcellentAdventures we run the 2.7m 30 second awning on the camper with the zip on 30 second tent. If all the kids coming we setup a 3x3m wanderer gazebo with 2 or 3 gazebo hub tents. Key for us is to have a base camp and keep the car free as we love to get out and hit the 4x4 tracks during the day also. Mostly in the Vic high country. Also if we need the car quickly in an emergency we can get out quick.

We just have the internal lights switched to off, so it doesn't drain our battery. We don't leave the back open at night of course, pretty much once we finished cooking dinner at night it gets closed.

We certainly include that moving forward. This camp was more expensive due to having the whole place to yourself, from memory it was $60 per night, but it was Easter so they might not be that much now.

Yeah agreed, we won't be going back now that price has been raised so much. However we booked to take the kids but got in before the price rise.

Kings awning tent review is the best and honest review there is. Will be buying one. We similar to you, 5 kids with partners, we run the kings MT1 plus gazebo and gazebo tents for the kids with swags and awnings. Love the kings gear. Based on the Mornington peninsula and do a lot of camping in vic high country. Out with mates and kids every now and then so the kings awning tent great if it’s just me 4WD camping without the camper trailer or kids. @bryceyoung4984 That's so good, we love taking the kids out too, but it's a different beast for sure like you understand. We have the camper trailer for when all of them are in tow. We can't wait until they are all old enough for swags! You should definitely do KZfaq, we started purely cause we always try and KZfaq spots that we want to go and find out what others might do that will work for us.

That was from Temu. It was $23, and it's called a Car Tailgate Anti-mosquito Net. It's really good, very lightweight but very effective.

It's a Wanderer Lightweight Aluminium Folding Stool from BCF. It's just the stool, no table. Kmart is so good, we would be deverstated if it ever closed here.
