Yes, I have a Coleman 6 person. I used the tent in mid July and found the tent to be very roomy. It was simple to set the tent up. My only complaint is that the tent on the heavy side when transporting to camp site.

I think the jeep being on 37's is part of what made it want to roll. i think Blackbear is one trail that lends itself to smaller tires over larger. stock Tacoma probably a bit too small. but 33's is probably closer to the sweet spot. you do not want massive tires raising you center of gravity when you're on a tippy trail.

what was your your pressure? I know some of that sand can get pretty silty so I would honestly run about 8 psi. I often ran 12psi at Pismo, but that sand is pretty normal grain.

Heres really no argument. Jeeps are cheaper, more capable, and! Easier to build for off-roading than a tacoma. Literally any real Off-roading tacoma get modded to be like a Jeep. Switched from independents to Solids. Theyre pieces of crap but very off-road capable. Tacomas good for durability and daily driver. Thats literally it. Unless youre rich.

Pretty cool. Nice to know you really can off-road the tacoma right from the dealership. I have a 21 pro and have been doing mild off-roading. But plan to do harder stuff in the future.

You absolutely need to run lower air pressure in your tires for sand hallow and dunes in general. I would assume you were probably around 14 psi which is just way too high for those dunes, i run about 4-6psi in sand hallow/dunes like that and never get stuck, just make sure to have real beadlocks.

Yes those are 4 Ply stock factory tires those are onky for city and pulling on city streets tires NOT for the bush they designed them for city only Get wrangler dues tracs which are 8 and 10 ply model tires No mail will go through them
