Just for fun, wander over to the Kyoto Tachibana High School Band version of Sing. Kids being professional grade if a tad robotic. Musicality and choreography are top grade. Seems marching band is a girl thing in Japan. I always had a bit of trouble with the drum solos when dancing to this.

THE MUSIC IS GREAT, THAT DANCE STYLE DOES NOT FIT THE MUSIC, YOU ALL NEED TO LOOK AT THE OLD CLIPS OF PEOPLE DANCING THAT STYLE OF MUSIC CALLED SWING, AND SEE WHY IT JUST DON'T FIT THE WAY THE ARE DANCING HERE, OK. BECAUSE YOU ALL LOOK LIKE YOU DO NOT KNOW HOW TO KEEP A BAT LET ALONE DANCE.

My High School English teacher to our class into the auditorium, to hear this and hopefully apply it to English writing and composition. Don't know if it worked but was a great experience and gave me a life long love of this piece. RIP Mr. Hottleman.

I had forgotten how beautiful those flowing, clinging dresses from the 1940s were. They were so Feminine and colorful. I kept looking for the black line up the women's rear calves but missed them, maybe nobody was wearing hose!

@@nineteenfortyeight6762 This is definitely late twentieth century but they are wearing 1940s costumes. The camera work and sloppy stage presence as well as the caption makes the date probably in the 1980-90s, amature. Still a delight though, they seem to be having a ball!

This is utterly marvelous!!! First, the B Goodman band Carnegie Hall performance / recording of "Sing sing sing " still thrills me The choreography design here equally thrills. I'm trying to conceive exactly HOW exhausted / winded these marvelously talented ladies must have felt after this performance. Energetic dance including multiple acrobatic LEAPS through the air..across nearly five minutes w no rest!!!!
