I pray this Channel continues to get more views. I’ve never been inside but I value you rehabilitation and storytelling to encourage others to hang in there. There is a light at the end of the tunnel.

Ian explained what being institutionalised is like; feeling like he didn't want to leave prison when it was time. 😢

Incredible podcast , Ian should be so proud of himself -the way he articulates his experience and has given himself a toolkit to thrive is mind blowing given his start in life -it’s so easy to judge but Ian is doing so much to remove the stigma , really enjoyed x

Thank you so much to Ian and the presenters for sharing this story. I have never been to prison, but as someone who grew up in care it was never lost on me the large proportion of children in care who end up in prison.

I also conquered my addiction in prison. I did 5 years, and was a serious addict even while in prison . But since I had to go through the cycle of withdrawal and everything so many times in prison, now I think of drugs rationally: how they're going to make me feel after, etcetera. I am no longer an addict, and I gained this modicum of control in prison. I'm a small channel in the gig driver / food delivery niche. But I did do prison time, I would love to collaborate or come onto your show. Keep it up!

I'm about to watch your program. I would love to come on your show and explain what kept me out of Prison. I'm from Newark,NJ but currently live in NY. I did 3yrs but got sentenced 2 3yr sentences ran concurrent. I went in 98 came home in 2000 the begginging of the new mellinium. I never caught another bid thank GOD. I did a couple of more County bids. I since graduated from a drug program and join another program which I went back to speak at the drug program and the housing program that I'm affiliated with at this time. I'm coming up on 16yrs clean by God's grace and mercy. You can hit me up if you want to hear my story. Thank you!

Use SM58s for the podcast as well as live. You don't need to use condenser microphones for the live spoken interviews
