Great question. It would be tough to find a job here in the valley to support that mortgage especially with the current interest rates. Post covid with all of the home price increases our wages haven't really kept up with the cost of living. But, if you had a good amount down that could be a different story. What is your field of work?

Update on concealed carry here in MT, no longer is a permit required & you are allowed to carry in 99.99% of all places. She stated average daytime temps, night time temps during the winter will average between 0 & -45 degrees, waking up to frozen water pipes including hot water is not uncommon. I love the east side many glacier area. I really don’t love the saint mary campground though. I think I did a video of that one also. For east side along going to the sun road try Rising Sun. I preferred that to Saint Mary. I also have a short video on that one. Enjoy your visit.

I personally like planning our travels myself but have a friend that always uses a travel agent and loves that so it really comes down to your own knowledge, time availability, and desire. 😀🏠

We will be coming to Libby later this month (May 24th - 28th to find land prices in flattish wooded land with a working Well, power to the property line and septic approved. I’m retired but my wife still works as a chemotherapy infusion nurse. We want to build a Meadowlark log house on the land. Well, this is a fairly small town so unless there were an event or activity you probably won't see too many people milling about. Also with Montana weather, most people stay in their cars as much as possible. But, the US is very different from other countries as you mentioned. We drive almost everywhere and don't walk nearly enough. Things are more spread out.
