How about the clean bass preset in the banlab like the sound bass of the recorded songs of the professionals? The sound of their bass guitar is clean and clear and the sound is not drowned? And then, the bass still has a punch like the AirSupply songs, love songs like the Scorpions song?

@thiagoborges892 The program change details are set out on page 187 and 188 of the modx data list (downloadable manual) but I don't have a modx so I can't tell how these program changes relate to sound patch changes or scene changes, as program changes appear to relate to presets.

@user-cf6tq7br8g The vortex wireless 2 is a midi controller, which means it has no sounds of its own. It needs to be connected to a sound module (like a synth) or to a computer with a sound making app on it. The vortex comes with a free download licence for ableton Live lite (which is a sound making app) or you can use an online app like bandlab. Plug the vortex wireless dongle into a computer, turn on the vortex, then open a sound making app. The app should detect the vortex. Normally in the app you will need to add a virtual instrument before you will hear any sound.

@faduradio5360 The vortex has no sounds of its own, so this must be caused by the computer, app or audio interface. Audio connections can hiss, so can distortion fx.

I have a couple questions: 1. What synthesizer do you have? I couldn't make it out much from what you said at around 2:26, but all I could hear was "Roland Juno D.O.N.", and nothing like that exists. If you can tell me what synthesizer you used in the replies, that would be helpful. 2. Does this supposed synthesizer come with built-in / preset sounds into it? I'd hate to find out the one I'm getting requires a computer software to use. Thanks in advance!
@IbandUK
@IbandUK 7 күн бұрын
@LukeDaFox Hi, the synth was an old Roland Juno Di but check out my video of the vortex connected to the Roland mc101... kzfaq.info/get/bejne/rLRootBjnNOzeqc.html Both the Roland Juno Di and the Roland mc101 do not need to be connected to a computer, as they have all the sounds built in.
@LukeDaFox
@LukeDaFox 7 күн бұрын
@@IbandUK Sweet, thanks! I do have another question that popped into my mind. I've been browsing around on the internet, and I'm not really looking forward to spending too much money. The only synthesizer that I could find that's by the Roland brand and is cheap enough is the "Roland Juno-60". I'm not sure if you have one of these lying around or if you have any knowledge about them, but do you think they are pretty much the same as the Juno-Di or the Mc101, having built-in sounds?
@IbandUK
@IbandUK 6 күн бұрын
@LukeDaFox Hi, the Roland Juno 60 is a very expensive synth that was made in the 1980s, so I think you might be looking at the computer plugin version and not at a real synth. It doesn't have to be a Roland synth but I don't think there is much that is cheaper than a mc101 that supports midi program change messages. Roland now make the Juno DS (although I don't have one, so cannot really advise on it's suitability).

My drums have crazy latency. I tried using the vocal latency tool but they're still late.
@IbandUK
@IbandUK 7 күн бұрын
@dolanboosh Hi, usually it's caused by the soundcard in your computer, I use an audio interface (zoom u22) as the latency is much less than a soundcard. Also, try closing any other apps or browser windows you might have open. Once you open a project, you don't need to be connected to the Internet (unless adding things like fx), so you could try disconnecting you computer from the Internet.

And I can play the virtual instruments in Zenbeats on my vortex. I just noticed I can change sounds with the vortex pads too (and possibly CC with the faders too), so it looks like I will be doing a video about using the vortex with ipad real soon 😀👍

@IbandUK
@IbandUK 9 күн бұрын
@humbertoaparicio4648 I would recommend starting with the volume set to about 75% volume, then after mixing, check the mix at 50% volume and then at 100% volume. Remix if needed so your mix sounds good at all 3 volumes. Checking you mix at different volumes is a good way to find mixing problems.

Haven't got an iPhone 6 so can't say if it works with that though.

When I try to install it, the downloading of additional files take 2 to 3 hours and then it says time out or failed to download. What should I do, kindly guide me.
@IbandUK
@IbandUK 9 күн бұрын
@peer55 Hi, first check your download folder. There should be a CakewalkSetup.exe file... Double clicking on that will try to download Cakewalk_by_Bandlab_Setup_29.09.0.108.exe file (you will need an internet connection to download). If you download folder also has a folder called Cakewalk, with a file called Cakewalk_by_Bandlab_Setup_29.09.0.108.exe in it, then you have downloaded cakewalk and just need to double click on this file to install Cakewalk. The bandlab cloud servers have good days and bad days, so sometimes you might have to wait and try again another day (preferably at a different time of day).

By the way, is mastering using bandlab copyright or copyright free? And what about AI mixing, mastering services? Are they copyright free or copyrighted? And especially according to youtube. I remember many videos saying you can't use AI to record voices on youtube so I'm afraid Bandlab mastering would be considered a copyright violation. If you had experience with it or anybody you know got monetized using bandlab mixing and mastering, I'll be thankful if you confirm with me. Thank you!
@IbandUK
@IbandUK 11 күн бұрын
@user-zy7li8dq3j Hi, basically, you can only copyright something that you can prove is original. Mixing and mastering are not the kind of thing that would be considered copyrightable. AI mixing or mastering is simply a method of identifying the loudness and tone curve of your song and changing them to a standard setting (normally a standard set by someone like KZfaq or Spotify). AI song creation is a different thing though... This is typically when copyright songs are learnt by the software and used to create new songs. I personally would not use AI song creation software, as it is highly doubtful I would be able to copyright the song and may even end up in breach of someone else's copyright.
@user-zy7li8dq3j
@user-zy7li8dq3j 11 күн бұрын
@@IbandUK yes I meant AI mixing and mastering tools but not song creation tools So if I'm using AI mixing and mastering software or Bandlab mastering tool on my own songs that I composed and recorded, will it be OK to publish them on KZfaq and other streaming platforms without copyright issues? And what do you think is safer regarding copyright Bandlab tools whether mixing or mastering or AI? And which is higher quality?
@IbandUK
@IbandUK 11 күн бұрын
@user-zy7li8dq3j Yes it is okay to publish your own songs that have been mixed / mastered in BandLab or using AI software like izotope software. Thousands of songs are released every year that are mastered and mixed this way and I have never heard of anyone ever having a copyright problem (probably because mixing and mastering are not copyrightable). Bandlab mastering / mixing / song creation is okay for KZfaq or publishing on bandlab itself but for audio streaming services like Spotify I would recommend creating / mixing / mastering your songs on a computer in Logic, Pro Tools (intro is free) or Cubase. It takes about 20 years to become really good at mastering, so if you want to go pro, you probably will want to get your songs mastered in a pro recording studio (if you can afford it).
@user-zy7li8dq3j
@user-zy7li8dq3j 11 күн бұрын
@@IbandUK alright. So Bandlab mastering isn't eligible for streaming platforms but must use logic pro or free tools for mastering if I'm gonna distribute. Right? Thanks a lot for your reply ❤
@IbandUK
@IbandUK 11 күн бұрын
@user-zy7li8dq3j You can use bandlab mastering for streaming platforms if you want, and no doubt some people do, I'm just saying that you will be competing against songs that have been mastered on industry standard DAWs (like logic, pro tools, cubase), so personally I would want my songs mastered on those DAWs too. It's just my personal opinion though.
