I thought you can use Oil Base Paints or Stains with this ??

Thanks for the video. Plan to purchase and spray oil paints with Ultra Max. I understand you're supposed to use Ground / Earth wire(?). Have you a viseo on spraying oil paibts with Ultra Max? Cheers from Texas USA.

Hi there! I’ve seen you say that solvent based paints shouldn’t be run through this? Why is that exactly? Also, the gentleman at sherwin Williams that sold me this told me I can run emerald urethane through this no problem. Isn’t that a solvent based paint? Did he lie to me? Thank you for your help.

This thing sucks. Broke after two uses by having the internal pump mechanism explode while filtering warm water through for cleaning.

Thanks for the video, fellas! I bought a used one from a friend who used it to spray his house. It’s been about six months since he used it. He says he used the armor protector. If it were not working properly, how would I know? I tested it with water and it seemed to work OK.

Now if only they thought to make a bigger hopper or even one you wear as a backpack...................................................................... then they might have actually made something useful.

Best video I've found so far, explaining the difference between the models. Seems odd its so hard to determine the differences any other way.

Great video simple and to the point as so many videos I passed on were 11 minutes +. I just blew out my last tip connection yesterday so I figured it was an o ring but was trying to install between the sliding piece and the inner port fighting bearings falling out and such🤦🏻‍♂️ im so ignorant I tried 4-5 different sized orings before getting pissed and throwing a fit, figuring that there was a good chance that I was doing it wrong after calming down last night I decided to check the you tubes and found exactly how easy it is compared to what I had tried. I have been buying o-ring kits to have on hand for a couple of years now and as someone who feels the need to make an effort to repair my own equipment before entrusting to strangers it’s become a standard practice to keep a variety of o rings on hand. Theyre cheap enough where I have bought them so now that I know how simple and quick it is I will start changing them routinely before they wear out. Thanks for the lesson 🙏🏼

Graco Ultra Max II 490 have hard time getting it to pump i have clean everything and still not geting no were. is there anywere in canada to get this fixed ?

What do you mean by liters a day? Because couple of day ago we used x7 and we sprayed 25 gallons of paint in 3 hours and there was no issue with it running and it's still going strong

Josh, i hope you're well, mate. I've picked up one of these machines myself. I'm looking forward to spraying doors, door frames, and window frames with it, primarily in an acrylic based paint for trim. I'm just curious, have you tried using enamel paint through it? And if so, how did it spray?

Not sure what you mean by conditions what ever you set the pressure to thats what it should stay no matter what.

You supposed to release the trigger so the pressure remains the same...

I have a graco project plus sprayer and I’ve been painting the exterior of a 3 bedroom house. I’m almost completely done with the house and my sprayer won’t spray paint anymore. It primes and sprays water out and then it’ll get paint starting to go through then just stop. Is my pump going out or does that just mean it’s clogged somewhere?

why does no one make a paint sprayer that can do both kinds of paint and is made good like the old ones. either way you gotta clean them and a metal unit is easier and you can thin your paint and get more money out of it if you want
