my theory is this song's Trey's "biography" / tribute to his pal Fish. Maybe in some early iteration, it was, "Boy; man; god; Fish," since those two had traveled over to Italy together in '85. Song came to be while there. Maybe Jon was like, obfuscate that jawn, bro! Hence, merde 💩💩💩💩💩 🐠🐠🐠🐠🐠 🥁

Trey paid for this entire Beacon run, musicians, stage hands, video crew, the venue, everything, out of his own pocket at a time when all of those people were essentially without a paycheck and we all thought we could be the next person we know to succumb to Covid, and he let us all watch and listen for free. So many thanks to this incredibly talented and big-hearted man. These shows helped ke keep my sanity and humanity!
