Wait a minute. I just stumbled upon this from my algorithm, so I’m probably getting it completely out of context (maybe this is a course for people looking for a career??), but why is the idea of identity development tied exclusively to occupation? Why is the idea of “who” we want to “be” connected to jobs? I’ll look up this theory; I’m guessing I’m hearing this wrong.
