My thoughts of Jackie Chan’s PS 1&2 1: Very silly, but the final fight was the absolute best part imo. 2: Much better story wise and I like the realism of police enforcement in this one and was less silly. I didn’t like the final fight except for Benny Lai’s (the Deaf/Mute guy) martial arts, but that didn’t save the film because Lai’s fight scenes were too short. (Note: I only saw the HK cut btw, will watch JPN cut soon) 1st is imo better but the silliness was too much, 2nd had a great plot twist (watch PS2 to find out) the police technology of the HKPD is SO outdated its laughable. (That’s the 80s for ya!)

I actually like the Daniel Craig era the best. All the other ones was more a case by case. Movie by movie. Daniel Craig era. Every movie there was a link to each one. A true story line. Each bad guy there was a link. Also Bond and M history goes back a ways. I felt the Craigs era was so more and powerful story that just the bond character.
