It got things straight, but it didn't solve the stretching. The checkered pattern squares are supposed to be the same width + height, and you can see this one has a ton of stretching in areas where it bends, thus your texture will also look wonky.

Blender's vector blur needs also depth, is the da vinci vector blur quality the same?

If it is a nearby rock then it should look as dark as the fences and tree, but instead it appears hazy, that may be an indication that the object is actually very far away.

my Mediain1 node doesn't have a channels tab, it has Image,Audio,Settings tabs. its a basic MP4 file from a screen recording

Well that is because you can see the channels tab in an exr file ( you'll need to export the video in an open exr format ), hope this helps

If you want to add motion blur to mp4 files/videos just go to fusion add an optical flow node and connect it to vector motion blur and play with the scale in vector motion blur and done !

The photo at the end of my animation is actually the original photo - the digital version looks very different. I'm only showing how they took this photo of a "UFO" which is actually just a rock sticking out of a pond of murky water. So easy to replicate this.
