Very easily shown, and being able to be shown with narration in voice using layman's terms is always best than if you played a music file during the presentation. Gotta like that miraco and no wires to cause a computer to go sailing off the table when moving around that seems to happen alot during typical 3d scanning. I got one and it completely cured my cable anxiety. These abilities can really make customization and repairs a walk in the park.

I also scored a magnetic haptic USB C connector for a few bux for making it quick release easier on the socket for charging and sending files to the computer for editing.

Thanks for the demo, I wondered how to use the boards and appreciate the time you took to show us how. Can you comment on whether this should be done when the unit is brand new, or if/when they recommend doing it (what intervals?). Also maybe it's worth mentioning that there would be a thickness to the spray applied to the pins, so the scan would be the outside of the spray coating- and you measured clean pins. Perhaps this could at least partially account for the tiny difference in measurement, rather than assuming inaccuracy (in addition to any potential inaccuracy of the calipers). Very impressive results, I'm happy I own one :-)

You do not need to do this all the time on your scanner especially a new one. It is already factory calibrated. But if you find that you are having bad data or point clouds keep messing up, then this is a very easy thing to do to try and get the calibration back in order. Thanks for the other input! Happy scanning!

maybe always start first shot with product flat on table and scanner flat on its bottom on a box.. click.. now you have world orientation, stick the scanner on tripod and keep shooting your angles after that.

If I had a miraco I would go to all the museums and beg to be allowed to scan historical objects. But is expensive

Does the standalone unit still require the revoscan software? Or can the device itself export stl files?
@Innovation_Creations

No, Yyoou dont have to have Rrevoscan. Thhe unit itself will provide you with the .stl or .ply

Hi! Will scanned objects be processed faster if you use the version with 32 GB of RAM?
@Innovation_Creations
@Innovation_Creations 5 ай бұрын
I don't believe so. It only allows you to scan up to 10,000 frames where the 16GB will allow 5,000 frames. Which still is way more that you will ever need. If you want to process faster, just hook up to computer while scanning and that will help speed things up.
