Looking forward to trying this technique. Currently only getting it to open up real good about 30% of the time with my current throw 😂
@Johnsplots2 күн бұрын
It took me a while to get it down, even with this method. I think hooking your arm is the key.
@rcs15912 күн бұрын
@Johnsplots gave it some tosses in the back yard. This technique made a huge difference for me. Thanks for the video.

Good video, it has tidied the field up well! Have you thought about getting some stabilising bars for the tractor? It would stop the disks from swaying from side to side.
@Johnsplots3 күн бұрын
Thanks, Leo. I do have stabilizing bars, but I forgot to put them on. It would have helped for sure, and I'll be putting them on the next time I disc. Thanks for watching!

As far as the plow job, you did one heck of a job all things considered.

I appreciate it. That was my first time plowing with a moldboard, so I learned a lot in those 7 acres.

Thanks!! I have a lot more tractor videos coming. Are yours the diesel or gas?
@leoburnell779910 күн бұрын
@JJF3023 they are both 3 cylinder diesels. I have a few videos of the older one on my channel, and I have recently bought another so I will be getting that running too
@Johnsplots10 күн бұрын
I'll have to take a look. I've bought 2 of these, both gas, and my cousin just bought one, gas as well. I've never run the diesel version.
@leoburnell779910 күн бұрын
@JJF3023 they are mostly diesel over here in the uk, some of the older ferguson 35s are petrol or tvo but most of the massey ferguson 35s are diesel( I'm pretty sure)

You’re the man! That choking up 1/3 and putting everything but the one end in one hand is so much easier. I’ve been holding it over shoulder and mouth and I suck. Feel like pro now with this method

I'm watching this for ideas for a new bench in 2024. The one thing that stood out to me was the use of electric tools and not battery tools. I didn't have hardly any battery tools seven years ago myself. Thanks for the different ideas

I actually just bought my second one a few months ago. They're a great tractor. What do you plan on using it for?
@brockdelorenzo7505Ай бұрын
Mainly for fun. I will probably brush hog, do a little garden… And just ride it lol. I will use it at my cabin. Can’t wait to play
@JohnsplotsАй бұрын
Nice. You'll enjoy it. I just bought a 2 bottom plow for mine. I'm hoping to try it out tonight and tomorrow. I'll post a video. The brush hog I used was a 5' and it worked well.
