I would have liked to hear your analysis of Spain vs. Italy. Why does Italy, play back, await to counterattack? Is it because they are limited as far as forwards go?

Character assassination indeed. We'll see the Heat Death of the Universe before we'd ever see Nick Cushing slug a player. Disgraceful allegation. On another note, this was the performance I thought we'd see against Colorado. Great response to that flop. Nick was right when he said, "I know what's coming." This team is ready to win some games. Now. And it's only going to get better. #VamosCelestes 🗽⚽

I love Nagbe. He is an amazing talent and just an all-around amazing person. You don't see many players giving up going abroad because they want to be around their family. I hope Nagbe is in Columbus for the rest of his career. He is such an important player. He has to be one of, if not the best, holding midfielders to ever play in the MLS. He is arguably the best American player to ever play in his position. Not sure why, but your video showed up on my feed. Glad it was. Really enjoyed the podcast.

The problem I have with the goalkeepers is, I don’t see any contribution playing short passes out of the back. Unless your keeper is joining and creating an 11v10 situation, I’m perfectly happy to see them make the longest most direct pass away from the net.

No Vote was Shekar Krishnan district 25. I watched hearing seems like he thought stadium was a waste of space with city in need of affordable housing . To much of a break on taxes not enough of economic return... etc

Great podcast as always. Can you explain how I can tune in the radio during the game? I don’t see a radio option when I click on the game on mls apple season pass. I do listen to the radio when I’m unable to watch the game, though

I like Cushing as a person but I think it's obvious he's not the man for the job. I'm sure he's trying his best but it's just not good enough. No real direction or style of play, no reaction on the sidelines when we get scored on, doesn't look like he motivates the team at all.

Hi man, You know someone who is a Podcaster? You see... I`m taking my skills in a new direction and planning to help someone fascinate their Reels/Shorts videos and retain audience up to the end of the videos. So I was wondering if you know someone who could use my help just like I did to Café Con Podcast and Fast Break Podcast. Thank you have a good day! 1:38

Roster is not an excuse for Cushing. Roster was in no way MLS supporter shield or cup caliber but the team was rarely prepared to put in a complete performance and the game day decisions by Cushing were, IMHO, terrible. Cushing also has the team playing pretty boring football. I’m sure we are going to get another year of Cush football. I hope he does better.

What kind of coach leaves Talles in the bench and put Matias Pellegrini as starter 🤦🏻‍♂️. At this point I don’t mind Cushing staying but please let Pellegrini leave the team.

There is a lot of room between winning MLS cup and being a total disaster and not making the playoffs. Dudes take on not having a 10 million dollar striker as an excuse and Cushing not having what he needed is whack. This season has been totally shambolic. Forcing Talles to be the nine was the first fail… I don’t think Cushing has it, doesn’t get it… he approaches the job as, “what does CFG want me to do, what do they want me to say…. My guess is that he returns next season and it’s maybe better but the team still will not have the chemistry or identity needed to win anything other than a low seeded playoffs spot. The teams “identity” starts with the coach and Cushing’s identity more about being corporation man than self actualized. All season I’ve heard excuses and data about how the team is unlucky and actually playing well. It’s not strat-o-matic. Advanced stats don’t put the ball in the net. The failure of this team is the absolute failure of Cushing and Lee together.

You guys are really blind sometimes! We have good players. Its his tactics and his chages that mess us up most of the time. 5 at the back doesnt work to score goals. You cant keep making excuses for him both of you! Love the pod though
