This is Korea. and I'm trying to prepare for my job interview for working in the US. Can you put subtitles in English so that I can translate into Korean?

I think about this way. ER will address the s/s of your anemia. ICU will address the anemia itself.

Question for anyone: what other nursing specialties fall in the ICU category? For example, critical care, acute care, etc. Are there other nursing specialties involving a super organized environment, such as ICU?

People who hire nurses in Michigan have turned nursing interviews into opportunities to socialize and find out information about nurses ....how crazy is that?????

I'm not in Nursing school I am taking my pre-reqs before applying to nursing school. I work in the school system and I do not want to be a Teacher assistant for long nope. I am doing the best I can to find other options where I can still work with children just in a different environment. Adult nursing no thank-you. I didn't enjoy working in the Nursing home as a CNA no thank you. So working with adults in the nursing field it's something that isn't my niche. I have always worked with children. My long term career goal is to become a pediatric nurse @Yasmin Cierra

The adrenaline of the ER seems like a great way to stave off the boredom I felt after spending 15 weeks in other units, but I've never stepped foot in an ER yet as a nurse. Aaaaaand I don't know if I can handle a limb going in the wrong direction. Instant stomach flip. Instant I may need to hurl. How do I get past that?

Broken bones are my kryptonite. Just the thought of it, or like when you're watching a sports game and an athlete breaks- oh god I can't. TV gets turned off and I'm sick for a minute.

It would be so nice to see a vlog of how a new mom manages 12 hour days! It could influence those that have reservations on starting nursing school / finishing nursing school. It’s also not really done on here. Blessings to you!

Oh my gosh. Hemorrhoids hurt so bad. They were debilitating for me to the point where the doctor had to prescribe me a narcotic. That's how bad I was. Mine were just pain pain pain. No itching just excruciating pain.

College (and nursing school) teaches you many things. Not just the "book learning" but also you need to mature as a person. I struggled with my classes, because I still had the "I can figure this out myself" mentality. College requires you to take information, boil it down into something you can learn for the exam ( flash cards, summarize information into one sentence, making diagrams). ....In other words, you learn how to think for the job you are going for ( not just nursing, but the type) When asked job interview questions, I would spend less than half the time talking about yourself as an individual ( what your last job was, or your hobbies) but more than half of the time in the interview talking about HOW you became a nurse ( how studying nursing changed you from a student, to someone who thinks like a nurse).
