All this said, I personally know many gender critical women who will be voting for parties with trans inclusive policies because voting for any party does not allow you to pick and chose which policies you like or dislike. It comes as a take it or leave it package. They’re not voting Labour, Lib Dem or Green because they’ve suddenly embraced trans inclusion but because they want to see the back of the Tories for reasons having mostly to do with economics. I’m struck by how many women I meet who are gender critical but express their views in hushed tones because they are afraid to voice their concerns publicly for fear of attack.

Putting trans ideology on the same level as biological reality is dishonest. One of these is a pseudo religious ideological belief in a sexed soul (gender identity), the other is hard science. If you want to believe in this ideology, go right ahead, nobody wants to stop you, but have the good grace to recognise that's what this is: Ideology. Can you show me any examples of people being fired for saying "trans women are women"? I cannot find any but I can find a hell of a lot of examples of it happening on the other side. Only one side of this discussion is authoritarian and attempting to use the state to enforce their beliefs.

Please understand that transexual rights, gay, lesbian, bisexual rights are human rights as in basic human right we all should have ie being safe, having safe spaces, children being allowed to be children, equality in sports , marriage , ect. These rights are heterosexual rights as well and they should be ,however having these rights should never mean taking them from someone else. I’m lesbian I just live my life i have never walked into a male toilet and demanded it’s my right to be there because I’m butch.I don’t think a rapist going into a women prison is equal rights for the women. I also think there should be space for you in things like toilets as in your own space. However when you start insisting that the experience of a transwomen is the same as a women, or forcing pronouns on someone or forcing yourself into a space that is not yours and leaves the door open for abuse I will call it for what it is.
