Absolute Kings of swagger. Brilliant musicians and a tight big sound, live! Such a great recording where you hear every instrument and Rods vocals perfectly balanced. Kudos to the engineer! Faces at their peak best, real rock.

Everything about this video, including the moving mass of bodies in the audience, is awesome. Munich 1986 must have been a trip.

It's weird watching this now and thinking "oh, they didn't seem that old at all". at the time, I thought "40-year old Pistols? That's weird". It isn't as strange now when you consider how many touring rock bands are in their mid-late 40s and putting out new material regularly.

I thought he became the greatest living player in 71 after Hendrix died but he never quite grasped the moment mainly because he wouldn't compromise on his blues roots like Beck and Page.

I l only discovered Rory Gallagher a few weeks ago. I am 74 and I have played the blues for many many years. I heard the name but confused him with Oasis. How sad I am that I missed him and his music. I am listening to everything I can find to try an catch up but i can't .. What an amazing player!

In addition to having fantastic lyrics and presentation skills, it sure does help to have such a rock-solid backing band. The Attractions deserve a huge ovation for their expert musicianship and spot-on delivery.
