I’m pretty hard on my equipment. Do you worry about denting the Ti cup, therefore rendering the whole system unusable? Seems like the plastic with the Pathfinder cup would be much more durable. Thanks!!!
@alphaomegasurvivalsupply654816 күн бұрын
@markashlock9017 Granted, I haven't tested that lol but it seems pretty durable to me, I would imagine the original with the stainless steel cup would be more impact resistant however. Plastic can be more forgiving than titanium of course so it could bend instead of break kinda thing, I definitely wouldn't call the titanium cup flimsy though and it would probably stand up to a good beating honestly. Hey ill hit up Grayl and just see if they would send one out for testing and we can find out lol, I won't hold my breath on that though 🤣.

Weight is a number. Some people can carry a heavy pack and some can't carry very much. In a real bug out situation there will not be judges disqualifying people because their bags are over 10 #. Carry as much as you can as it is your life that depends on it.

Hello!! Im wondering if you made a bag for that folding stove that Iridium (RIP) had demoed? I havnt bought it yet but im thinking about it and how much.
@alphaomegasurvivalsupply6548Ай бұрын
Unfortunately we did not get to make that happen in time 😞, he was a great dude and it really saddens me he's gone and so suddenly too. However if you were interested in a bag like that we could make it happen, I would just need measurements for the stove etc. My contact information is in my description box so we can work out the details, I can say it won't be super expensive while still being hand made with 100% American made parts and materials on American made machinery. Thank you for tracking me down and inquiring about a bag, I look forward to your patronage!

Why not use two prusik loops and a toggle on the second Tree ? So one loop "is the end of the rope" and hence only a toggle is needed to lock the Loops together...

This might be a silly question but is the outer cup the only portion that’s titanium?
@alphaomegasurvivalsupply6548Ай бұрын
It's not a silly question and sorry I didn't show that well enough but the inner sleeve that the filter attaches to is also titanium, so the only plastic is the filter itself and the lid, besides a small line of plastic at the top on the outside of the inner cup that separates the inner and outter cups. Hopefully this made it a little more clear and if you have further questions don't hesitate to ask! Thanks for watching!

I’m sure that the reason that the lids don’t fit is because the walls of the titanium are thinner, so they fit the same filter size which is the part that’s going to be replaced. Just my guess.

They've copied a few WTG designs now, only these are more affordable and MUCH easier to buy. It's a really good lookin knife
@alphaomegasurvivalsupply6548Ай бұрын
@jimbusmaximus4624 usually I'm against companies doing that but I don't think it's a perfect 1 to 1 copy and I don't have a wolverine to compare it to directly, many of these "name brand" companies are just charging WAY to much cuz I know what materials cost. For example a 6 inch bladed knife in magnacut could go between $250 - $350 depending, what they don't mention is that's less than $10 in steel and probably less with volume purchasing. So when people say it's more expensive because of the materials...its a flat out lie and materials are not the deciding factor on price lol, don't get me wrong people should make money but not 4 or 5 times what it should cost and more in some cases. Smh this country is in big, big trouble.....
@jimbusmaximus4624Ай бұрын
@@alphaomegasurvivalsupply6548 I agree. I don't mind a company making a product that's similar to any of the high-end knives that sell out in minutes. They do sometimes have a few duds but they have always been especially known for their machetes and big choppers. I've noticed that are many people online that won't use or buy anything else. I got a Hudson Bay recently and am very impressed with it. The grind on it is fantastic and does whatever I need it to. Some would prefer a knife this size would dull or roll than snap when chopping.
