The fact that Season 8 might be the weakest cooking wise all-time & very toxic made competing for any decent chef pretty easy. Russell's anger costs him big time. I have to give him credit though for not being sexist nor having been angry at Raj. Russell might've been entertained by Raj or just felt he'd be gone soon so no need to go against Raj. Raj made this season very famous though

Yeah, he's young. But, he is really likeable and I think he can have the ability to work with every single person in the house. He is loyal and said himself that he was a people-person and that he is willing to adapt to any situation he is in. He's gonna build up his social game, but he realises that a social game isn't the only thing that is gonna get him further in the game. He is gonna win comps if he needs to, so it gives me the vibe that he is self-aware and flexible with his strategy. I also like his strategy of being observant and kind of getting a feel of who is living with and getting the sense of what everyone's strategy is. I like his strategy of taking it one step at a time, and not rushing into playing hard and making all these alliances that he might can't keep. Overall, Cedric is gonna be my winner pick.

Wardog being so high is something I didn't expect but I absolutely love! I was really impressed with how far he made it considering how agressivelly he played!

Oh man the fact that 5 of the bottom 6 are all blue team members really speaks to how much of a train wreck that team was. Will & Paul had to carry that team a lot. And i'd rank Jamie & Elizabeth over Tommy & Elise. The latter 2 are some of the worst chefs to ever receive a black jacket, and the former 2 were unfairly eliminated to keep Elise around.

This may be a hot take but Elise is one of my favorite Hells Kitchen Contestants. She isn’t likable, but that’s what makes her entertaining.

Wil was easily the best chef of the season, but one decision cost him the win. Paul is the first true underdog winner Christina (S4) and Nona don't count.

Elise was not better than Elizabeth, Natalie and Jamie. Only survived because of her personality

At least Jason would get a 2nd chance in Season 12 and take full advantage of it. Which does make me wonder how well would he had done this season. He definitely wouldn't have put up with Elise.

I always taught it funny how Ramsey acted like no one has ever made tacos as a signature dish (referring to Jason's) when in season 1 Elsie made tacos as well.

I see people bring up Elizabeth's challenge mistake a lot, but I honestly don't think it's all that bad. Hawaiian and Asian food have an insane amount of crossover, and through my own experience at culinary school, you really aren't taught that much about Hawaiian so I don't think the confusion is that crazy or big of a deal.

I personally feel that Monterray is a bit too high. I don’t think he had one good service all season, not to mention he was nominated 4 times.

It's good to know that cousin subs played a worse game than the guy from zombie land and school of Rock. Cousin subs voted out lyrsia because he is homophobic and he lost control during the end game.

I think Underwood is ridiculously high imo, the fact he got voted out due to his own mistakes at failing to keep Keith and then doing something after being specifically told not to do it. If he never came back it would be uncontested he was one of the worst players of the season. and mainly do the moves he did towards the end because of what the edge of extinction people told him to do. He def got Lauren to give him his idol which is good but other than that he was handed a winning scenario coming back in with idol and all. I'd rank him like 10th-11th

Hot take: I don’t think voted out players returning isn’t that bad. It’s a fun little twist on the game. What I am upset about is them having someone return to the game as late as the final 6. I think the outcasts was the best iteration of the twist thus far, and it’s unfair to everyone watching and playing when someone who was voted out on day 9 returns at the final 6 and skips over half the game
