Hello, thank you for your inquiry. The use of the side mirror socket, as per the manual’s guidance, is a standard procedure we adhere to. The specific reasons for this requirement are not detailed in the manual…. But my own thought is its draw the power supply from there.. definitely not to control the side mirror..🤗

Heading says filter the video is reffering to the pump at the rear of the car, my jdm GRB has the filter in engine bay - black canister with 2 lines connected at the top. 😁

When you clean with a filter with compressed air you force dirt back into the filter making it harder to flow.. for $30 just put a new one in.. ☺️

Interesting content, Volvo was so far ahead of the pack in many ways - SIPS, airbags, seatbelts, better designed impact zones, daytime running lights, ABS... Great manufacturer legacy. If you're shooting these videos solo, I would suggest you don't wear a mask - it affects your sound quality, and it prevents people with hearing loss from being able to lipread.
