You already knew this, but I hadn't watched to that point yet. 🤣 Special note about the mixologist career: There is a drink you can only learn at level 9 of the career. Snaggle Fluster can only be learned by going to work and doing a work event at exactly level 9, not level 10. Don't get the Professional Slacker trait until after you get this. If you accidentally get promoted to level 10, you need to get demoted back to level 9. You can also quit and rejoin, but you'll have to start over in the career. It's a random chance to get the work event too.

Woo! I am so excited to have another episode of this! Also, good news! You probably already saw this, but the sims team announced they are working on a big patch for the game that would fix a few of the main bugs you have mentioned before. The first one I remember off the top of my head is the top-notch toddler trait not working. That and other bugs should hopefully be fixed in the next patch.

Seldom Sleepy is pretty much my favorite reward trait. It's usually my 1st purchase and I'll save my points until i can get it. it lets me get stuff done with it being too OP. I havent bothered with crystals yet but with nightly mushrooms from Cottage Living you can stretch Seldom Sleepy into de facto Never Weary in a pinch if needed. The buffs from the mushroom and the canning conserve stack, but only if you eat the raw mushroom 1st. I dont kno if its a bug or intentional, but if you got the buff from the conserve, the game wont let you eat the raw mushroom. I've only ever gotten Never Weary for child vampires for roleplay

Another great episode. I learned a few things too, which was a bonus for me.

Have any images from a microscope or telescope ? Those also provide a concentrated aura. When you want your Sims to be concentrated, you can't have enough of those. Also, take a quick vacation in Salvadoria and get those emotional tree seeds. Emotion trees are non-seasonal. Those are great to get your Sims in the mood.

Since everyone else is chiming in, I'll say that I heavily rely on the Verdant mushroom for the focused emotion. ALL my Sims grow it, along with the Museberry Tree of Emotion, for the buffs needed for my Sims. I've started grafting Museberry & Vimberry onto Sage since the trees look out of place in most worlds, and Sage is also an all season plant. I works well. I could also graft on Cereberry, but I sometimes need a lot of focusing ability. Anyway, I hope this helps people. I also use the Focused paintings. Quality 6 & 9 are optimal. I didn't notice what quality Tina's were. If they were 4's, that may explain why they didn't help much. 🤷‍♀ Loving this series. Thanks Petey!

My top tip has to be seasonal rotation - by which i mean putting out of season plants into your household inventory and planting seasonal ones in their place. It just gives a bit of variety and doesn't effect the quality or growth state, good for builds eith small gardens too. Starting a play from autumn for those Harvest Fest gnomes and their free seeds too, only reason i keep those guys around!

Hello, Peter. My suggest it's to make Tina a mother. This will allow her to be imortal for 3 days sim and also because I just want to see another super sim baby.

I think if you visited the realm of magic you could buy the Potion of Plentiful Needs which is a potion that fills all needs to full you could also buy potions that make you immortal (I'm pretty sure the potions work on non-Spellcasters). If she were a Spellcaster she could brew her own. At low level there's the Potion of Rejuvenation which resets sims current age. At high level there's Potion of Immortality prevent death from old age and adds a trait to sim that makes them stop aging, permanently(this worked for me but a lot of people say it's bugged).

I really love that you use the built in game mechanics to manage the needs!!! Makes it feel like Tina is genuinely working for the boosts. It makes total sense for her to want to find a cure for tiredness before going off to annihilate all those distinguished degrees lmao. And it’s so funny to me that Tina has never even seen a horse in her life, but she’s already halfway maxed the skill 😂 Good luck with keeping Tina at level 9 of the mixology career. I feel like even setting her to slack off won’t stop her progress I can’t wait to see which degrees/clubs she takes on first. College life is going to be so good for her.

The Grim Reaper pact only being about a week makes sense. I mean how long (even on long lifespan) is the lifespan of any sim really? It would be the most useful to elder sims.

When I had to get that focused phase of the crystal creations aspiration, I used the incense stick that i think came from spa day? It was a super cheap way of making someone focused.
