Your video is what made me decide on these lights for my wife’s 2002 Superduty. I have morimoto on my Dodge and have to say I like the quality of these Alpha Rex very much! Drl and turn signals work well, however only the upper projector is illuminating. When I activate the trucks high beams, the upper projector changes. In your video it looks like both upper and lower projectors illuminate. Did you experience this at all?

I have the alky funny car. I blew the gears 3 times because of the lexan body. I took it off and put a tyco body on and haven't had any problems since I swapped them

Did you have to rewire the blinker pigtails? Because mine ain't plugging into the rex supplied plug in the housing it's not much different but different enough.. i also have an 02 but upgraded to the 05 panel and lights everything has been plug and play til now.. also you tapped into fuse 8? For the start up? Looking at also running that

Where did you tap in the harness for drl animation with unlock? I have a 2003 7.3. I per alpharex tapped into 12 obs2 cigar lighter and they are always on?

Sweet video man! If you don't mind a suggestion, I would recommend rolling your bars back quite a bit. It looks like you're getting a lot of front end tuck because of too much weight on the front end. If you look at your bike from the side, the angle of your handlebars should be in line with your fork angle (or slightly angled backward). That will help a ton

I also use them as cheap drag cars to do ho drag racing with ny buddies so i dknt havr my expensive nice ho scale purpose built drag cars cause they so fast they will go flying off the track while drag racing if not careful and plus i dont like putting laps on my expensive purpose built ho cars i use for money races, pink slip races and cahs days we do

Or do what i do the new scaletrix micros use a 4 lane track and run them together as a two lane at 9 volts they fly

I was just looking at these cars. I didn’t realize they were rated at 9 volts. I was looking at them because I have an older micro scalextric that moves out on my track so I was looking at more. I’m not sure what the voltage rating of the one I have is. I think it’s the older version though. Another fast cheap car are the Tyco HPX2. They are like the 440x2 but only 3 ohm I believe and were meant to run in the battery powered tracks. I have a stock Lifelike T chassis that rips also. It destroys the Mega G Plus cars. I like the catch curtain you made. That’s a great idea.

I have a 2004 F550 and have been looking for a grill and headlight combination. I saw your video last monday and started cutting my headlight support by Friday. It was an easy install, but I have two questions. When you hooked up the gray daytime running light wire, what fuse location did you use? My daytime running light fuse location is in the fuse block under the steering wheel. My issue is, that fuse is always hot, so as soon as I made the connection and installed the fuse the white rope light or C's "[ ]" come on and stay on even when I have my keys in my pocket and the vehicle is not running. My high beams also do not work at all, and the low beams have a constant flicker. 1000 times a min. I checked my batteries and charging system, that was all good. I pulled everything back apart, reinstalled all my factory lights, and everything worked perfectly. Put everything back to the new lights, no change... Flickering and no high beams - so frustrated!!! Yours looks killer... any help would be greatly appreciated!

how are ZR1 OEM NPP mufflers different than non-ZR1?

I wonder if they created those cars just a little larger so you would have to run their track if you wanted to run them on a road course, otherwise, they make great cheap drag cars

I’m trying to figure out if I can set/wire the pro’s so that the light tubes stay on as amber. Did you notice anything different on the backside between the pro/lux? Alpharex says some of there models have the ability to “set” there lights to amber, not sure what that means though?

I’ve had mine installed for about half a year now on my 99 7.3 and decided not to mess with the additional parking light harness since ours don’t have a parking lamp fuse. Did you install your additional harness? If so where did you tap into?

I got these for my truck and love them but we’re you able to get the blinkers to work normal instead of going fast if so what did you do?

Really insightful. I’ve been confused if the lower bulb was a high beam and required another bulb or not, but this sorts that out. I do like the idea of being able to swap bulbs vs the entire headlight if a bulb goes out. It would be nice to get that lower light here to match. Someone else on KZfaq said you could disconnect a wire to just turn that halogen off. I wasn’t sure exactly what he was talking about until now.
