Hmmm , , , So the deepest find of ANY fossils has been up tp 16,00 feet below sea level & obviously deeper in the ocean trenches caused by tectonic plate movements. Hmmm . . . Oil companies drill up to & in excess of 30,000 ( Deep Water Horizon 35,000 + ) feet below sea level and find oil. Hmmm . . . Are we being conned into believing that " Dinosaur Liquid " is a thing & scarce ?

The term fossil fuels is a propaganda term made up by the energy industry. They are not made from fossils but are a natural mineral in the earth.

Use the excess power for mass-scale electrolysis and store the hydrogen for fuel later? Am I missing something here?

I used to work in a lab that produced biofuel from algae farms. Unfortunately the cost for this process given the technology available at the time, in addition to the other potential cons mentioned in the video, made the environmental impact only cancel out, not outweigh, the returns of the traditional fueling process; which would not justify the costs of transition for many. That said, as technology progresses more efficient tools & methods would ensure that algal biofuel production is a better option than comparable fuel processes, and more importantly it would help preserve our world. I can only hope the race to restore the planet with sustainable solutions overtakes the race for self-destructive processes with higher financial returns.

I love how people know EXACTLY what was happening 300 million years ago. I truly don’t think people actually comprehend that time. We do not know. Literally cannot confirm ANY of this. Change my mind.

Used and Proved fossil fuels total 8,869 gigatonnes carbon. There's only 913 Gt carbon in the atmosphere and 550 Gt carbon in life on Earth. The physics of this video's explanations do not add up. How can surface material totaling 16 times the total of life on Earth get buried and buried so deep and air-tight that methane doesn't escape? Where did all the extra carbon come from? The half-life of carbon underground is 4 million years. There is nothing left of anything from more than 20 million years ago. Your teachers and professors need reeducation.

It is not waste!!!!!!!!!! Centuries old trees are used for biomass energy all around the world. We are told to plant trees not to cut them. The only crazy idea comes from unprofessional politicians like the dutch Frans Timmermans and Diederik Samson who always think that they can control the world by setting a date for some goal. Nothing will or can be solved before 2030. After that date several safe nuclear solutions will be commercially available from the UK, Canada, the US or even India. So stop spoiling our landscape and stop subsidizing biomass and electric cars. In fact, the energy problem is solved, we just need a few years. And never forget that oil, gas and coal companies will do everything in their power to delay this development.
