Hei guys Love your videos. But i've a question. Aren't you afraid to lose light in the basement? From my prespective the lower windows will lose light since the deck will be on top of them. Love from Portugal.❤

I think you guys did a great job. I think some of the design decisions could've been made differently with the base pool colour and I would try go for a specific style so it's all cohesive.

Roses can be slow to start but definitely pay off down the road. There's a saying that the third year makes things go pop (I forget the exact phrase). Anyways, I just wanted to give a suggestion: use organic fertilizer over synthetic fertilizer pellets. Organic fertilizer enriches the soil. I use an organic fertilizer called Founders Fish Fertilizer by Heirloom Roses online (It stinks to the high heavens for about 3 hours. Do not use this if there's a raccoon problem in your area). I fertilize once a month starting in the early spring until 6-8 weeks before the first frost. Eg, I live in Utah so I start fertilizing in March-ish (we we get our last snowfall in May) and stop fertilizing the first week of September (the first frost usually comes mid October for me). Also deadheading your spent blooms helps to promote more flower growth. I have 30 roses around my home, I learned everything about rose care from Heirloom Rose's KZfaq channel. Highly recommend for beginner rose lovers 😍

I always feel like starting a video with “previously” is so insulting to your viewers. Similar to the way an older person would respond to a social media post with “hi Andrew….”

Loving the new series. It’s one of my Sunday highlights. For the siding vs. stone debate, I’d personally go with siding. But that’s for the sake of maintenance and cost. If you do continued stone it will make the house feel more tied together in the front overall but it will cause the front to be darker in color. Where I live (in Wisconsin) we also have to consider mud wasps who like building nests on stone surfaces. Are y’all gonna get rid of all the brick on the house or just the front for now?

Not on our front door, but on the light next to the door. As long as we owned the house a bird of the species wren nested on that light.
