Growing up, blacks had poping and locking, PRs had breaking. You needed both on your crew to handle all challengers. That tells me they ARE in the conversation from the jump. Whether you say day 2, day 3, at the end of the first day, they were there. New York got many flavors and they are one of them. Fatboys - Prince Markie Dee.

Breaking doesn't come from no pr's😂😂😂. Chsrlie Chase himself has said that latinos didn't help create Hip Hop, and that means they weren't down from the jump. Prince Markie dee, SERIOUSLY🤭

Don’t say that! There’s actual documentaries and video that show proof but don’t want to talk about that! It’s all narratives at this point.

@@76shogun1- I’m of Mexican American decent and have nothing to gain from who created Hip Hop. But you’re absolutely correct most of these people don’t even understand what the word,”culture,” means. It’s not just rapping that defines Hip Hop. Personally, what KRS-One is talking about is New Yorkers as a whole helped mold and create Hip Hop. Watching documentaries like Style Wars, or 80’s Hip Hop movies were so multicultural. They never showed exclusivity, since NY isn’t a segregated community. I remember when there was a period when NY didn’t even want out of state people speaking on Hip Hop to where it even sparked the East vs West beef! It’s just crazy how it’s legitimately documented, yet KRS-One is looking like the bad guy because it doesn’t fit Jamar’s narrative
