I cant seem to get an answer from the owner of blueghozt. currently I have 180 ws2812b's on each side, and Im trying to find out if I can power those straight off the controller or if Im gonna need to route power "around" the controller and bypass it???

@@NextLevelNeo i guess what im really trying to undestand is how does the module figure out what area/section to power up based on the different inputs it sees? or is that something that can be defined via programming?

Yes, you will set sections in the app and define which section does what. But that is a really simplified explanation. I cover in more detail in a lot of my videos. Think of my tutorial section on KZfaq as a college course on addressable. If you just watch a few videos you won't have the full picture.

Been having a hard time finding honest and informative videos dealing with the different breather options. I've had a terrible time with depo headlights on my BMW since the day I got them. The first time it collected so much water that there was literally about an inch of standing water in them. I've cracked and resealed numerous times. This last time lasted a while but I'm starting to see light condensation again but I'm starting to think it may be more related to warmer weather then rain/washing. I need to try these because even removing the headlight is a pain.
@NextLevelNeo
@NextLevelNeo 17 күн бұрын
Standing water is usually a leak, I'm not sure breather patches will help with that. Make sure there are no holes anywhere on the light.
@tekeguy68
@tekeguy68 17 күн бұрын
@@NextLevelNeo Yeah, I resolved the standing water the first time. For the price, Depo's are pieces of garbage so I re-jiggered some of the seals, rear cap and bottom drain/weep vent (which wasn't even drilled). It's just been condensation the couple times since then but it still bugs me. They do get pretty warm because I have always running halos so I think getting them some breathability will solve what I have going on now.
@NextLevelNeo
@NextLevelNeo 17 күн бұрын
yea, in that case the breathers should definitely help. if you still have issues after that add a couple desiccant packs, i dont like to use them cause they can break open and make a mess but sometimes you have to.

@@NextLevelNeo Yeah I'm increasingly leaning towards desiccant packs also because I want to eliminate dealing with these headlights ever again. I have lots of options from my filament dry boxes for my 3d printers so I'll decide once the patches arrive.

I have a k1 that I bought on a huge sale a while back. I was ok with having to fiddle with it a bit though. I leveled the bed with shims, swapped out the plate for a pei one, installed the camera, and rooted it. I am running full Klipper with all the options now and it is by far my best printer. I have 4 printers in all and don't touch my other 3 now. I have over 1000 hours on my k1 with 0 issues and only replaced the nozzle. I love this thing and the K1C is just a better version in my opinion. I would not upgrade mind you as there are not enough changes but I would buy one if I didn't have a k1. I will say the competition is fierce now though. With the flashforge 5m and the qidi Q1 pro out there.

Hi, I installed your power saver and I’m having a couple of issues. . 1. Is the Blueghozt module suppose to stay on at all time’s regardless, even when the car is off? 2. I’m using the blueghozt plus and decided to only use the one wire trigger method but on the lightning bolt section it doesn’t show any amperage.and at times I’m also getting a yellow message at the top of the app saying “connect power to 12v pin” 3. When using one wire trigger method does the blueghozt need to be powered at the sw+ and ground for it to detect the trigger from the power saver, considering those switches are considered external? Because if so then technically it wouldn’t be a one wire method then, no? 4. Right now the A button does trigger but just a random set of colors on the tail lights but no shows and the B button isn’t doing anything
@NextLevelNeo
@NextLevelNeo Ай бұрын
1. with this wiring layout the blueghozt will stay on, the controller alone only draws 0.03amps so this does not generally present a problem. 2. Did you connect the power to the 12v switch power input? 3. Yes, you need to run 12v power to the sw+ since that is not connected to the main board power. Ground is not needed, only needed on the main ground. Its 1 wire to the battery saver trigger which i would consider a 1 wire method. Technically its still got a dozen wires running all over the place, this just cuts it down from 3 triggers to 1. 4. The A button triggers the EXT trigger on the ghozt, you still have to pin show modes to that trigger. i cover that in detail in this video along with many other questions that im sure you will have. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/jcqjacmj2pewfIk.html

If your car has negative switched headlights, (Most Japanese cars from early 2000's) follow this guide guys! He does a really good job of explaining everything clearly and explains every part of the way. This is cheaper and better than any of the adapter harness's, which are really hard to find/determine which specific one you need for your car. I did this for a 2010 honda fit and most other Hondas from early 2000's would be the same. There's a comment in here about reducing the output slightly because of the diodes, I can say that I did notice it too but because the lights are so much better and brighter than the stock halogens it didn't matter to me. (Edit) Honda fits are positive switched headlights and this process will work fine you will just have to switch the orientation of the diodes.

@bulgarianicedtea7897 Ай бұрын
Another tip guys, keep your soldering iron hot and be as quick as you can with the diodes, these seem to bee extremely sturdy/ heavy duty but I have heard from other enthusiasts that they have ruined a couple of diodes by overheating them when soldering.
