Hi there. I've never seen a veg restaurant in that area but there's on called Reastuarante Vegetariano and it's a block away from the ''bus terminal'' in Rionegro. San Antonio is part of Rionegro. Just go a block up the street from the bus terminal towards the park on the left side of the street. You'll see it before you come to the traffic light. It's been there since 1996. Good food. Some of the restaurants in San Antonio have veg options.

Jen I came to understand why the monkeys are so naughty there. Their natural homes are being destroyed by people who are looking to develop the land so they have to take thgings to eat and confuse glasses and phones and whatever for food.

I'll be returning to India down the road and only with an ample budget to have a comfortable and very spiritual time.

A comfortable room with ac in a decent hotel ($35 per night) or private standard double room in a good hostel like The Hosteller in Macleodganj, Himachal Pradesh ($25 a night). The Hosteller and Zostel are in the top 5 hostel chains in India 🇮🇳. Having your 3 square meals in good or very good cafes for westerners who normally can't stomach spicy 🔥 hot Indian food at dhabas or restaurants or don't wanna risk it with street food goes for around 300-450 INR per meal ($3.50-$5). Whatever sweet snacks or salty snacks you want are cheap in general like 20-50 INR per piece like a samosa or Gulab Jamun. Chai is super cheap on the street (10-25 INR). Taking a auto (tuk tuk 🛺) is cheap as long as a local tells you the real price the pay for the trajectory you're taking or use Uber or Ola to take one. Going from one city or town to another by train or bus is really cheap and the trains are better in general. I paid 300 INR to go from Haridwar to Amritsar in general seating class (8-hour trip). You're looking at about $50 dollars a day minimum to be comfortable and happy. Take a good set of earplugs that are professional like tfe ones US 🇺🇸 construction 🚧 workers use. You might get a hotel room or hostel private room where there's a lot of noise coming from inside or outside. That's India for you. If you wanna travel on a Bare Bones Budget, you can but be prepared for all the crap that comes with it in India. Now that you've asked that question, I'll be making a video about this topic with a Colombian 🇨🇴 background as I walk and talk. No new videos coming out for at least a month. Have a good one.

I stayed at The Hosteller in Jaipur and Delhi and Delhi's was much nicer and cleaner but staying in dorm rooms is hell. People making noise or answering calls after 10 pm while others are trying to sleep 😴. I had to tell one dude to take it outside the room in a very stern tone. He hung up and never did it again for the three nights I was there.
