There is so much I could say about this holy. So many details I love, the way Poseidon claws his way out of the water. How the crew works together to get the ship under control as he creates the raging waters, the way Odysseus saves Eurylochus and then the reverse happens at the end. It’s all so good! The way you can see how PISSED Poseidon is and how he is not playing games and plans to show his fury!

Can someone please update me on the lore? What's Zeus beef with him? I mean... with Poseidon he blinded his son....what did he do to Zeus? The last interaction between them I remember Odysseus killed a baby because Zeus told him he had to, so what happened for him to get on his way now?

Honestly, this is great. I really wish people would stop drawing Odysseus smiling during his 'apology', it's not an apology, it's an excuse, but I honestly think he was too panicked to wordsmith in the moment and all he could really do was explain. I don't think he had any plan thinking 'Hey, i'm gonna talk my way out of this.' like he did with the cyclops.

The way I NEED to give you a platonic smooch on the forehead because this is STUNNING!!! As someone who has studied the original Greek myth for a college course and is a massive fan of Epic, the way you portray Zeus in this is PERFECT for both the Classical myth and the musical!! I just- UGH 😩 ITS BEAUTIFUL (and horrifying but that’s the point of Zeus as an eternal creep)!

This is so stellar, did you include the water arm to reference the missing arm of the bronze posidon statue in boston thats missing that arm. its like missing at the exact same part of the bicep as the statue
