These are good lessons for sure. I can only play Let it Be and a few other real easy ones cause I'm a lousy player but for those of you a little better this is the best instructor you could find on you tube.

It will definitely take me a few dozen times to get through the entire song, but never mind the bullocks. You are much appreciated for your stellar tutorial.

One thing that helped me learn this is realizing that the solo is over the chords of the "La-di-da" section of the song - except that the first half of that section is repeated TWICE, and then onto the second section to finish the solo. (In other words, the first section's chords are: Am, Am7, D7, F; the second section's chords are Am, Am7, D7.)

Shout out to everybody whoever thought this song was easy to play, Only a true genius of a musician can come up with something like this

Dear John, can you comment on the intro on official sheet music being different from what’s actually played on the album? I believe you play what’s on the album, correct? Thank you!
@pianojohn113Ай бұрын
Yes, most of the sheet music that published is incorrect, put together by lazy transcribers.

Thank you so much!!! I’m a guitarist learning piano. And this is one of my fave piano parts. I’ve played this song for a while now with basic chord and melody but you’ve unlocked all the fills and everything I didn’t know to make it sound like how Nicky Hopkins played it

If you're talking for solo accompaniment, sure drop the left hand. I think there's a certain amount of pride that comes from just being able to play the full counterpoint part, even if it is sped up for the record and not the "true" original form of it.

John, I first started learning songs thanks to you nearly fifteen years ago. I didn’t know much about music theory then but your videos were so accessible to newbies that it didn’t matter. I’ve come back to the Bohemian Rhapsody video recently and now that I know chords it’s even easier to follow. You truly are a wonderful teacher and a class act and I’m extremely grateful for your work. All the best to you.

Imagine having the ability to let a piece like this just flow from your heart onto the piano keys as a session musician for a John Lennon song when the feel of the piano is the song and have a back seat.

Pianojohn113, good to see that you have recently replied to some of the comments. I too like most others have learned a lot from your videos, it's something great that you do, and for what I can see you have a lot of fun doing it. I really thank you for all the work you have done and for all the people that you helped to play the piano.

Wednesday morning at five o'clock As the day begins Silently closing her bedroom door Leaving the note that she hoped would say more She goes down the stairs to the kitchen Clutching her handkerchief Quietly turning the backdoor key Stepping outside, she is free She, ... (we gave her most of our lives) Is leaving (sacrified most of our lives) Home (we gave her everything money could buy) Father snores as his wife gets into her dressing gown Picks up the letter that's lying there Standing alone at the top of the stairs She breaks down and cries to her husband Daddy, our baby's gone. Why would she treat us so thoughtlessly? How could she do this to me? She (we never thought of ourselves) Is leaving (never a thought for ourselves) Home (we struggled hard all our lives to get by) She's leaving home, after living alone, for so many years Friday morning, at nine o'clock She is far away Waiting to keep the appointment she made Greeting a man from the Motortrade She (what did we do that was wrong) Is Having (we didn't know it was wrong) Fun (fun is the one thing that money can't buy) Something inside, that was always denied, for so many years, . She's leaving home
