But just stopped driving box truck for a local company and considering the cargo business. Leaving with the wife for a month in the camper van out west, all if September and hit the ground on something OCT 1

0:01 You need an insulated wall behind the front seats. There's no reason to waste air conditioning on such a large storage area that doesn't require climate control. That wasted area just makes your MPG more expensive since the AC runs 4 times more than needed. That one round trip is 2,243 miles.

Yes especially weekends you can do odd ball jobs. Might honestly be better as a side job for extra money and tax benefits and have something more steady for reliable income
