You must have seen so many changes. Time flies, or so 'they' say. I must say that I haven't heard the phrase 'Gee Whiz' since I was a young boy. It is very good to hear it again. Thank you very much for leaving your comment.

Hello there. It looks likely that the record was released during 1922. The original recording may have been earlier.

My father worked for emi for much of his working life. I have his long service watch ( it doesn't work any longer) his masters voice logo was on the side of the building overlooking the railway line. I still have our first record player, it's much newer than the one in your video. We got it in the 1960s. It also doesn't work!

Thank you very much for mentioning this. I am sure it is wonderful to have such 'family' items. Your father must have seen so many interesting things while at EMI for so many years. I have a few gramophones which don't work but are still very special to me and I imagine that you may well feel the same way about your father's watch and your first record player. Thank you once again.
