Hi, I like your content much. Great videos.But I have a Question. If I attach a Iconward to the Hybrid Metamorph and put it in a truck. Does the truck could scout. Scout says, that every model in the unit must have the scout ability. ANd the Iconward does not have scout. And leaders share keyword, but scout is not a keyword, it is an ability. Miss I something or why could the truck scout. Thank you.

Benefictus is only lethals on ranged attacks so wouldnt really be great on metamorphs

Hi. Can someone help? . In cult of ascenion theres a 2cp stat that targets 2 friendly units. If both squads have a nexos can they each reduce the cp cost by 1 ? Thus making it free. Sorry for the n00b question :)

Only managed to play 1 casual game since the codex came out, I figured outlander Claw and take every vehicle I have painted 😅 xenocreed has the adv and charge acol's/ meta's and neo's with assault weapons I miss from 9th, so I feel it'll be my go to in future

Thank you for your content, I've been studying up on the GSC so I can create my first lists. I'm a BA player and have chosen GSC as my second army, I'm going to buy everything and then build and paint all at once as a big project. So far I've bought two old combat patrols and two biosanctic battleforce boxes. All I have to buy is 4 of the new combat patrols and the needed HQ's and I'm all set. I've learned a lot from your content so I know how I'll make my lists

If you put the Biophagus with the Metamorphs, doesnt the truck they go in lose the Metamorph's Scout 6" since the Biophagus doesnt have that?

I think hyper-metabolic vigor is the most broken strat in the book. I just have no idea how to break it. I feel like I want to use it to multi charge and prevent a heroic but then pile away from the scary unit and hit the one I wanted to charge. I just can’t see how to engineer a senecio where I am not required to base the heroic unit. Maybe some terrain play tricks? The other problem is the scariest heroic units are fight first and this does not help period for that.

one thing to mention - nexos now can't copy strategem, only make it cost less... so yeah gonna use two of them in 10 man flamer squads, for this tasty +1 to wound 20 flamers with +1 ap from ridgerunners my tst list is really similar to yours, but i wanna try +2 charge Patriarch with purestrains from rapid ingress/just from reserve + tons of flamer acolytes The problem is - my board will be really empty for whole two turns (farm acolytes and ridgerunners only). Maybe one of 20 neos should also stay? dont know yet

Hello, 10 acolytes with 10 hand flamers, does that mean you pass on icon and demo charges ? Oh you answered that a bit later ;)

Hey Floof, what do you think of using a nexos to drop Coordinated Trap to 1 CP using it on two 20 bricks with Primus one has lethal the other +1 to hit now both have +1 to wound. I mean it's situational but any character unit would turn into paste no doubt I'm thinking if you were to run into something like a 10 man termi squad with a captain (do people even run 10 mans?)

Putting a Benefictus with metamorphs doesn't make sense to me if you give them flamers. Her ability only works with ranged weapons. Other than that I love the content! QQ: If metamorphs surge into combat after losing a model, does that mean we fight first in fight phase?

I think ridge runners with mining lasers is great. They are durable enough that it takes anti-tank range to actually get rid of them, they help with the monster problem the army has, and the stubber can easily split off to give bonus ap on another target. It is very early days so I look forward to what the hive mind can put together. Personally I think xeno creed is the best because advance and act is a very good rule to have access to and deeds that speak to the masses means our army rule is something you can actually expect results from. Biosanctic broodsurge is still my number 2 because I loved muscle beach with the index and it no longer works, but a msu (kinda) melee army with shockingly good charges is fun for me.

Relatively new cultist here, got myself 2 copies of the old combat patrol and had 3d printed some characters and 2 ridge runners. Thought I was within spitting range of 2k points but now I feel so far away, got a 1500pt tournament coming up and I don’t think I can take any list other than Host maybe at a stretch…sad about the aberrants being lame…I like the sounds of Xenocreed and Outlander Claw but I’d have to pull the trigger on either a boat load of acolytes or a boatload of bikes…I feel a bit paralyzed tbh! I might wait til the next dataslate in 3 months and just play my Dark Angels. Thanks for the great discussions always!

What exactly was it that you decided to change from xeno to host ? I only had one game with xeno but i was rather impressed by the performance of scouting metamorphs with iconward. But i agree that it´s too early to say which detachment will do better at tournaments, i guess time will tell ;)

I have had very good results with host personally, I think the idea of just generally more bodies feels right for it. I haven't played outrider as I don't own bikes but how is that one our best or 2nd i'm just not sure how it plays objective better than the battleline spam of host and xeno, maybe I'd feel differently if i had the models to play the detatchement.

How are you using the kellermorph?

I like the flavor of the guard cultists, so I'll play a lot of Brood brothers, but I would prefer the previous set up of up to 500 points in all detachments.

I'm a Brood Bro, but I agree with you, lol. I think there are a couple match ups I could argue them to be better than a Biosantic list. Specifically tough melee guys, where you can't outpunch them, and the extra anti armor from brood bros crushes hard. Not saying they are the best there, just above broodsurge.

hey dude....i am loving the channel. i been playing competitive for 1,5 years. mostly custodes and some WE and i want to play something totally different. GSC is on the top of the armies i will pick from. i am just struggling to figure out whats the best detachment to start with to learn the army and be competitive with? can u provide some guidance, now that the book is out, the missions changed and the slate was released. cheers. maybe important to point out that i play mostly in europe on WTC terrain.
