10:29 New information: On the Walmart Onn 4K Pro it's possible to downconvert the Dolby Digital Plus signal from Netflix to a regular Dolby Digital signal to work with the A series and B series soundbars. I did this with my B650 soundbar and I got 5.1 sound.

By the way, I’m 90% sure you’re incorrect about Netflix not being able to make use of Dolby Digital +. Most devices are capable of decoding Dolby digital + and converting it to Dolby Digital 5.1. I have the 550 and on Netflix, it displays as Dolby Audio instead of PCM. I also get the 5.1 audio track.

This is the best explanation I've seen for this question so far. My experience doesn't exactly match though. I have a 256GB Sandisk SDXC V30 that I use in my DJI Action 3 camera, and it is formated to exFAT, but I still get multiple 3.69GB files when I record in 4K for more than 4 minutes. When I put that memory card directly into my Sony Camcorder FDR-AX33, it creates 15GB 25GB, etc. files. Could there be some additional limitation of my DJI Action 3 camera, that restricts file sizes to 4GB?

I bought this for my HW -S800B and it won’t connect. Now it’s blown the fuse in my plug adapter so I’ve ordered a new one it’s coming tomorrow.. very frustrating as I’ve seen they are compatible but it doesn’t seem they are!!

The bitrate is not really the issue with Audio, because 128kbps AAC is good enough for most purposes, it is not much worse than 256kbps Dolby Digital; The issue is, if you go for MP4 instead of AVCHD, you lose the "Zoom Mic" Feature, which allows the Microphone to adapt to the Zoom Level and offer more directionality. Also, the camcorder seems to use some Dolby NR features with AVCHD, as the audio in your clip is much cleaner in the AVCHD version. As for Progressive vs Interlaced, this lineup of camcorders has a small sensor, so it is not enough to get real 1080p, especially if you enable the Hybrid OIS and the level function, which crop the original picture digitally to work. When you look into the high-end models, you will find bigger sensors with at least 6MP resolution, so at least 3x more, in order to have room for the cropping and give you real 1080p at the end. So 1080i is absolutely no problem, it may even be better than 1080p on these models, as you will get 2x540 sharp lines per frame with 1080i VS (somewhat) blurry 1x1080 lines with 1080p. Also, on 1080p, it is 480kbps per frame, but with 1080i, it is 840kbps per frame in PH mode, that's a whopping +75% bitrate, so in theory, higher picture quality through less compression! Also, every TV can deinterlace properly. Even freeware players like MPC-HC can deinterlace 1080i on the fly; and when you edit, you can convert to 25fps progressive if you want. Premiere Elements does a very good job at deinterlacing.

Hi i've visited the Q & A section for this product and i still am a bit confused? Note that i do not have the sound bar on hand but they state that "the SAMSUNG 9500S uses its own wifi from the soundbar" to connect from the bar to these rear speakers? this was in response to a person asking if it uses wifi or BT. so am i correct to assume one has to connect the bar to the samsung soundbar then it would scramble/encrypt it so that these rear speakers can connect to?
