The main question is: "where to buy Topical Fin?". At the moment I'm buying from the same clinic where I got my transplant here in Ireland but for 3 bottles with 5%Minoxidil and 0.25%Fin I'm paying €250. It's an actual robbery

Been on Dut for 1 year no side effects thanks to Aetherx. While on dut I had skin irritation after 1 week then used Aetherx product, haven’t had virtually any side effects since then

I tried to go back and watch some of your older videos and it looks like you switched a few times from oral to topical. Just curious as to why you didn't stick with one or the other and continue to lower the dose until one worked for you

Ahoi Matt - Have considered that the mental 'Side effects' you mention were just the mental downs we all have in Life? (like the doctor you once interviewed said about the sider effects, that they are no actual side effects, but more the normal downs of our mental state in Libido in life, plus the mental tension 'expecting' side effects?

0.025% should be equivalent to 0.25mg of finasteride in whole bottle, consider 0.2% which is around 2 mg finasteride in whole bottle

Hi Matt I been through all those experiment phases too .always looking to find what works what I wanted to improve on and did that in the first two years . I actually started to use dutasteride more in the beginning ,but always was using finasteride to .I since then took away the dutasteride to save maybe later if finasteride after like the ten year mark proves to be less effective .I also was concerned with the side effects of finasteride so I looked into other supplements , nutropics, peptides to offset the unwanted side effects of finasteride .I found by a nutropic I used by accident to correct my brain performance cause I was always lacking to put a fluid sentence together when talking to people .hesitating of words that just didn't flow naturally .anyway there's three that help with depression or just not feeling bubly in social situations .depending how severe you rate your side effects these nutropics help and you don't have to use them for life .there's dihexa, cerebrolysin, or the mild one semax ,or P -22-28 .oh and boosting with a testosterone supplement helps the ED side effects .I stopped using testosterone cipionate which was a steroid and replaced it with shilajit, ashgawanda, and if that's not enough add a mix supplement of l arginine mixed with l citruline

Do you think different Oral Fin brands have different stronger or weaker side effects?
@fatalradius

Oral is the best imo. What I do is take it 3 months, 3x a week 1mg. Then I take a 2 week break just to get rid of the residual Finasteride.

Personally after 2 years of oral fin 3 times a week was way more effective at .25mg over .1 % topical fin I had the same experience I went backwards after a year and switched back to oral. I feel topical is trash just my experience.

I think the varying results are to a big part due to the carrier formulation and stabillity of the solution

Similar experience to me. Was on oral finasteride on and off for 1.5 years but stopped due to sides. Went on a 0.05% topical finasteride and have been on that for 2 years but I have lost ground and my hair is a lot thinner. I’ve added in oral minoxidil and I’m now considering topical/oral dutasteride but starting to run out of options !

0.6-0.8mm pen or 1.5-1.8mm roller both effectively attack the hair bulge and stimulate growth. The scarring is a non-issue, preventable by not using too frequently (a problem you had, based on your old vids) and, assuming you have hair, won't be ugly while improving minoxidil results. The pain is a fair reason, but to say that "nobody" should be microneedling for their hair is absurd. People ought to decide for themselves what is worthwhile, given accurate information.

I found that my hair thinning was due to a vitiman D deficiency from working night shift. Got my levels tested and on 5000 UI of D3 and have noticed a lot of new growth in just a month and a half. Way more than the year I was on topical fin.
@letsgethair
@letsgethair Күн бұрын
Definitely possible. This normally shows up as diffuse thinning without the usual patterned hair loss progression.

@subhashchandra3318

Side effects because of placebo effect in early 2000's , people took 0.5 mg dutasteride and had no side effects 😅 but this 1 mg finasteride causing side effects 😂 , an unhealthy lifestyle or any deficiency causes side effects and we blame on medication 💊 .

I stopped my shedding and thickened crown and mid scalp over one year period with - 1ml of 0.025% topical finasteride in 50/50 solution of non PG solvent and Stemoxydine as well as 5% minoxidil foam once per day - Nizoral shampoo 2x per week - micro needling 2x per month - collagen and vitamin D3 daily - low carb diet This protocol has worked for me with zero side effects. Everyone is different so finding what works takes trial and error. I would only increase finasteride if shedding returned

Bravo on the hair regrowth. That is amazing. I would always try cutting the dose in half if you get sides from fin, or even less than that. Switching to dut or taking dut in addition to fin is also an option when losing ground.

I just dissolve my 5mg fin into vodka or similar liquor and dose with a dropper. I make it so I have 1mg per ml, so 50mg into a 50ml amount of vodka. Fin is stable even in water for up to 90 days so I have no concerns with it degrading.
