Ideals cannot be systematic because they are by definition unreachable. The quest of "ism" is leading people to think in this world of : Us Vs Them.

What about people who never dream? I have Aphantasia No mental imagery at all . In Africa they says dreaming is what we do when awaken. The real world is unseen by our eyes open. I don't believe in it but accept the fact that people may share this thinking.

The word Griot is from west Africa. This refers to the singer who is always with the king to recall him what his ancestors did in the battle field. Then the king is highly motivated to win. The Griot is also a storyteller for every one who wants to be motivated by this recall if his ancestors bravery generosity kindness. Psychologically the Griot means collective subconscious. The whole book was upset.

The mind creates stories about the future, but similarly the body reacts to the mind with feelings which we interpret as fear, and it is those feelings which the mind uses to reinforce and support the feeling of an imaginary fear of the future, along with mental imagery and mental thoughts. As the taoists say, turn the affliction into a cure. Focus on those feelings, notice them when those thoughts come. Turn them into energy through awareness of them. First interrupt the mind with noticing the thoughts and feelings. The breath is the way in, the breath is the way into the body.

I wake exhausted from my dream life

According to Wallas (1928) there are four stages in the creative process: 1. Problem seeking (what is the question?) 2. Incubation 3. Illumination and 4. Verification. Dreams are an excellent way of incubating a question. I would add one very important point here: You really need to be churning this problem-question over and over again in your mind before you're ready to incubate. You won't know your ready. Your unconscious will and will do the work, as Lessing describes when you let go of the mental agitation. I have been dumbfounded by the early morning dream just before awakening, I call it a message dream, with the answer to my question right there. Sweet dreams.

Unrelated to the video but have you talked about reincarnation? And have you heard of the concept Species Present? I was thinking and it seems to me that we reincarnate numerous times each day. Since the average human doesn't have the continuous conscious experience of being present and depending on the environment and arisen emotions different "iterations" of the person are present to respond to whatever is happening. And so would it be correct to say for example that since gautama attained buddhahood he never lost the sense of I am and thus was freed from reincarnation? Or am I going in the wrong direction? I'd love to hear ur thoughts on the matter.

I also agree with your interpretation. The existence of the interrelated opposites speaks to the necessity of the need for one of the other two exist. Your last comment to me can be summed up as, some things might be medicines or can also be used as poison, depending on the dosage and situation.

0:58 I think before awakening the essential mind is part of the unconscious mind, in that it has not become aware of itself yet it hasn’t yet turned the light around. So in that sense maybe you could say it is true but after awakening, I would agree that essencebecomes aware of itself.

My sort of natural follow up question to this is where else do you think your ideas come from if not from the sub-conscious? Aren't all ideas formed "awake" also just "appearing"? Wakeful thinking is focused awareness on a problem as well, and the solution finds itself after enough sustained attention.

I've been using the dream technique Doris described for many years, so I know it works. It was in my dream that I was told I was to make films, and now I'm an award-winning filmmaker. It was in my dreams I shown that I would receive two offers on my house and which one to accept. Before my fur-baby transitioned, I had two dreams about him getting into a white truck and van with other dogs coming to great him. I told my best friend about the dreams and she said that a "white" vehicle is a symbol of a coffin. Therefore, I knew I was having a premonition about his death. He was so happy in the dreams and running with other dogs. He didn't play with dogs in his living life, but he did across the rainbow bridge. I was so happy for him. I love the wisdom and healing power of dreams.

As a musician and writer, and pisces lol, my dream and subconscious are the bread of butter of my art :)
