The coverlay is nice. What you should have done was sanded down your original dashboard. This would make the fit much tigher and more snug. I cleaned mine and and sprayed the coverlay with a few coats of black. I am gonna modify it soon and trim holes in it and add some accents, if you are on facebook I will show you the finished product. It's actually a good investment. It's simpler than re-doing the entire dashboard.

All your signal lights work off of the steering wheel harness. Replace the harness.

Nice work part numbers are different depending on year and equipment V8 or 6cyl 06 will most likely be different from later years 👍🏿
