Hi there, my Peugeot 308 gave the engine fault: repair needed sign and I took it to the repair guy and he connected to the detector machine but he says nothing wrong is detected. But after a week, same signal came and my car started trembling and when I stopped it the fan ran for very long with a very loud noise. Do you have any idea what might be wrong? I am so stressed.

There is certainly something wrong. The fan may be on due to other reasons, but it's worth checking it with some other mechanic. Unfortunately, there are so many reasons for this warning that it's literally impossible to tell you anything without inspecting the car.

Dealer had to smash the whole trim from inside to remove it to get access to lock , as you said it has no lever to access from removing the small flap… very expensive repair 2016 CRV

I have no idea why Honda removed that lever. In 3rd gen it was accessible through that hole in the trim.

Just got charged $400 by Tesla service to replace the 16V battery on my 2024 Model 3 Highland with only 327km, claiming that I left it sitting unused for too long without the CCS2 cable plugged in. The high voltage battery had about 90% of charge at the time. Tesla states that all EVs need to be plugged in if they will be unused for quite some time. However, my BMW iX3 has stayed unused much longer without issues. Will never buy a Tesla ever again.

I own a 2012 CR-V, EX-L, 2.4L, auto trans, AWD. I purchased it close to 4 years ago with 100k miles and have put another 53k miles on it. My hwy/city split is about the same as yours but my average fuel mileage is between 25.5-25.8 mpg.

HOW about the INFRASTRUCTURE that WILL be NEEDED for this huge electric vehicle conversion? when is that going to be BUILT? what about the INCREASED carbon emissions that MUST be generated by electric plants to charge these vehicles? the ONLY thing that electric vehicles do, is REMOVE the tailpipe from the vehicle and install it on the powerplants of our country, and what about disposal of the batteries?

Hahaha 😂 EVs have a very long way to go. Someone needs to wake Joe up from his delusion. Didn’t he notice all the problems they had this past winter? Going to need a lot more coal to make electricity 😂😂 somehow the purpose of EVs to save the environment is not working with power plants

One way or another the taxpayer is green mugged either by paying too much for an EV or by being tax mugged to subsidizing an EV for somebody else.

The power grid will never handle the load. Even if most private homes have solar by then . About 30% of residents will still not have access to home charging because they are renters . Commercial buildings average 22.5 kwh per square foot consumption. The best systems produce 7.5 to 15 kwh per square foot. That much power simply does not exist. I noticed Tesla does not depend upon solar to power all of their factory even though they make solar systems .

@@chuckshaver5185 I would like to clarify. When I said "most of them are expected to be hybrids" I wasn't referring to a specific political agenda but rather to actual industry expectations. When you look at the number of hybrid vehicles being manufactured and the percentage of people expected to buy them, the majority of up coming vehicles starting in the mid to late 2020s are expected to be hybrids, regardless of what Trump or Biden say, just due to market demand. They save money on fuel, cost around the same amount now, last longer, have better breaking, and have higher horsepower. People like that...

Here's a very important question. How do we charge the cars in the state of California? We've already shut down 2 nuclear power plants. We don't have enough solar to do this. We don't have enough windmills. We don't have enough anything and the windmills are killing off. Birds and bees the solar panels. We have to literally cut down forests to put in the solar panels. Even though we should put them in parking lots and on top of shopping malls, we don't have the infrastructure to do this and Biden didn't want the cars to make less co 2.He wanted them gone because he's getting paid for the electric car market

How to get 40mpg. 1. The rogue uses what Nissan calls a “manual automatic” cvt transmission. This means that the eco button is essentially Nissans way of labeling overdrive. It puts the CVT at the lowest RPM it can at every moment which increases fuel mileage. When you are in sport, the cvt keeps the rpm’s as high as it can at all moments which gives you speed. NOW when you are at a light, put it in sport mode. As soon as you get through the intersection put it in eco mode. If it’s eco mode when you stop and go you are wasting fuel. It’s called “dumping” the engine is sucking in gas to keep the car going at low rpm but you aren’t going fast enough so it keeps putting gas in the engine in hopes you will speed up. I use my rogue to tow a trailer if it wasn’t so inconvenient to bring it everywhere I would just leave it on, when I’m towing it gets 60mpg because the weight of the trailer does most of the work for the engine so it’s barely ever using a lot of fuel. This car is a gem, it has no problems towing weight and the engine brake helps out a lot which most pickups don’t offer. If you have the engine brake off turn it on and stop using your wheel brakes so much. Every other suv I’ve driven when I was a valet was like driving a boulder, the rogue drives like it’s on a cloud but it never loses traction because of the traction control
@DmitrySapko
@DmitrySapko 4 ай бұрын
That's clever. Will try the trick with sport/eco. But towing with the CVT is fun up until one bad day when the CVT fails. And if you tow a lot, it will fail earlier than average. At least, I would change the transmission fluid more often than recommended.

@@DmitrySapko The secret to this in life. Discipline and driving like a 95 year old grandfather I’ve never changed the tranny fluid. 174,000 miles on this rogue 234,000 on an F-150 150k on an HHR with a 5spd and finally 300k miles on a Prius. Almost 1,000,000 miles driven so far since I was in high school the rogue is the latest car and I bought it new, it’s all about every single bump in the road. Every takeoff and avoiding abusing it in all ways. I did the same with my Prius, never serviced the transmission the engine out threaded itself first but yes if you get into it and it becomes your regular driving safe driving slow is the secret to maintaining a vehicle
