I had horrible pain from this it felt like every bone in my body was fractured. That last for four very long days. I took Claritin every day extra strength Tylenol and Ibuprofen for it, those barely touched the pain. Thankfully my Oncologist ordered Tramadol for my next shots!

Im 63, I have cancer for the third time. Doing chemo and immunotherapy at the same time. Definitely not fun, two aggressive treatments at the same time, but on my fourth session of Chemo, did another Pet Scan last week and my numbers are so low, can’t wait for this to be over. Everyone fighting this terrible battle is on my prayers. We’re in God’s hands.

Is it really loud? Is there a specific type of concentrator that you recommend?
@internalarchitect
@internalarchitect 27 күн бұрын
@robertcampis2294 mine is unfortunately on the louder side. I’m honestly used to it. I also had enough cannulas and extensions to locate it in an adjacent closet. I’ll work on putting a round up together of the top oxygen concentrators. Stay tuned.

I went through kemo ,radiation, keytruda all at the same time. My ct scan and MRI came out clearvof cancer. Thank you my Lord Jesus 🙏 But I only did 5 cycles of keytruda because I didn't want to continued. It started giving me a really bad stomach pain and diarrhea, chills, numbness, weaknesses. I couldn't deal with it anymore. My doctor was not happy since he said I was a perfect candidate for it. But I'm keeping my faith and full trust in my Lord Jesus that cancer is gone for ever from my body. I pray for everyone that's going thorough this rough process. My God's strength help everyone surpassed all pain 🙏 ❤️

Hi Todd, over the past 2 years I've been using a Signatra test . not sure if I spelled it right. you take a piece of your DNA from your cancer and they can detect it in your blood for the CT scan and it's been deadly accurate for me but most oncologists just don't believe in it. my surgeon recommend I do it and I've been doing it ever since to keep ahead of anything that may happen. so far I've averted a mass of lymph nodes and reoccurred again in my liver. the blood work showed it again. right now on chemo it's showing I have zero ero the past 2 months. it's never been zero for 2 months so I'm hoping that's a good thing. but reoccurrences is most definitely according to my oncology. just a question of where. to everyone out there. good luck!

@jymjym777 I am not familiar with the Signatera test. But just the little bit of research I did looks very interesting. I will be learning more about it for sure. I think anything that shows promise to helping catch the disease early is a great thing in my book. Based on the Signatera website, Im in the low risk category as Im 3.5 years in remission, putting me in the 3% risk rate. Hang in there my man and I got you in my thoughts. Kick its ass!

Understood. Same could be said for cheom as well. It's tough because we hope that modern medicine is going to help, and it does in a majority of cases, but for the few that it doesn't, burnes our faith. That's the hardest. Keytruda didn't work for me either. I am someone that believes that modern medicine has saved my life, to be able to endure the tribulations of treatment is tough to understand and explain to others. But I'm still here! Hang in there and much love headed your way!

Hi Todd, I know this is 3 years later, I prey that you BEAT the cancer. I started Pembro a year ago. I had throat cancer in 2005 from being a first responder at Ground Zero. I went into remission but the cancer came bacl in 2022. In February, 2023 I had a total Laryongectomy and the surgeon could not get all the cancer. I had chemo and radiation the first time so I was a candidate for Pembro. I have the infusion every three weeks. After three months the PET/CT came back clean and as of this response I am in complete remission. The only side effects that I have experienced are fatigue especially after the treatment and itching. I broke out in a rash that for the most part went away. I have one more year to go with the treatments. I hope this is a help to any one that is about to start this treatment. Again, Todd, I hope you are in complete remission and one day will be cured !!!!!!!

I am on the chemo or immunology part of my cancer journey. As someone on the autism spectrum I view the world through my particular and peculiar lens. But I feel sad too. I walk everyday I can and I mean walk, some days for hours, the body is a pump and needs to work. Friends have changed for me, many I have let go because we have lost mutual interests. Discipline is a good thing to acknowledge, one must work at dealing with the gloom of cancer treatment. I hope you have done okay.

I have stage four non-small cell Adenocarcinoma , lung cancer , I’ was on KETRUDA , but it’s a Attacking, my , pituitary gland . The doctor said without treatment I would die in six months, so I have to go back in three weeks to take bloodwork and then see what kind of treatment I’m gonna go on next. I’m very happy to see you again and I hope do you got people in your life they can hold you and do something with you during this winter he won’t get to go bike riding very much, hope you get to go outside though, and they are not trapped in the inside. I hope you take advantage of being good feeling good.

But it was swift and intense . I felt the affect within 4 hours . We must do these shots to protect ourselves , but sadly the side effects aren’t fun. Ps . I did follow the guidance of alleve and Zyrtec ( or Claritin ) day before , day of , after . My joint pain was limited to my back for about 3 days following
