It shouldn’t make a rattling sound. Where are you hearing that sound from ? The case ? Or the strap ? If it’s the case, I feel it must be backplate being loose or the module loose inside the case . If it’s the strap, it could be the strap had worn out or the lugs had worn out with use .

Ok. If the case is rattling. The backplate screws may be loose or the module is loose inside the case . Remove the module and see if the case rattles with just the backplate on . If so, you may need to get some new screws or if the screw holes in the case is worn out, better buy a new watch . There is one more option to use a slightly used watch on Amazon and swap the module in that watch’s case.

In my ‘watchlist’ for quite sometime. What’s adding to the confusion is whether to go for this model (Under Rs 4.5K) or the new WEV version (which has less busy face and available only on Casio India website (Rs 6K).. Maybe I’ll wait for WEV available on other retailers for a lesser price and pull the trigger !

I have a F91 without the small "u" under RESIST from the display....but mine has white light. I guess newer model have dropped the "u".

Yes. They dropped the “u” and I can see that it is absent in the official Casio website itself . It’s no longer a means to say if a watch is an authentic F91W.

@@flemingbeats1769 I am so sorry to hear that. Please check the following. Hold down the right button In the main timekeeping mode, hold down the right button for more than three seconds. If the watch has a newer module with a green LED light, the display should show "CASIo" to verify its authenticity. Feel the bezel Run your finger along the bezel around the lens to see if it feels smooth. If it feels jagged, the watch may be fake. Also check for the packaging that the watch came in. If you didn’t get the usual manual and hang tag, it could be a fake.

It’s a genuine watch. Mine also has “Made in Thailand”. Some of them are assembled in Thailand and some in China. Also you are having the warranty card . The word Casio is showing up when you are pressing the buttons together. It’s normal to have some with Yellow light. It’s a genuine watch 🙂

I spent 6 months looking for the ideal watch for me, and after searching so much between luxury brands and the most conventional ones, I met Casio. and between searching and researching about Casio and its catalog I found the f91w I immediately felt a connection with this watch being the first watch I bought

Thanks for your comment ! This Vostok watch being 39mm would be on the larger side for 15cm / 6 inch wrists. But with the compact lug to lug distance, you might be able to pull it off. Try it out once and see if it fits. I would recommend searching for a watch at around 36mm for you and that would suit you perfectly 🙂

There a couple of options available for removing the yellowing. Please check this Quora link.www.quora.com/How-do-I-remove-a-yellow-stain-from-a-rubber-silicone-watch-band . I haven’t tried them. But you can give them a shot . Please try it out on any older and scrap band that you might have (and see if they work) before trying it out on the actual strap, so that you don’t destroy the watch or band in the process.

Good suggestion! Will try it out. Hopefully the watch’s battery lasts for the duration of the stopwatch duration ( most probably it’s not that much taxing on the battery )

Have it, like it, but won’t spend so much on mod. Its functions are great but aesthetic upgrade doesn’t help with the tiny analog clock and hard to read city name display. So my only mod is changing the strap.

My best Casio G-Shock ever,and I've not only one, I've about 20 of them,but this is the best. For usability, convenience, comfort, functionality, key pressure and arrangement of the same, light, beautiful colours. And I could continue with the list , I can't find a negative side to it but I don't even want to! And I don't want to, anyway 😊 For those who have it: well done, there is no better choice. Enjoy it the way I enjoy it. For those who don't have it, buy it, trust me. Ah, I also have the same model in the "Neo Tokyo" version, fantastic too that, in fact I made a mistake in taking them both: now I've entered the loop that annoys me not being able to wear them both 🤙🏻🙃

Very well said!! I agree, this one is a fantastic watch. I loved the colorway that I showed here and I own only this colorway. But it’s such a beautiful looking watch. I also agree with the buttons . One of the best experiences I have seen in the button / pushers from G Shock. It’s so easy to activate the buttons or pushers on this watch. And it comes with Multi Band 6 radio sync and solar charging too. What else can you ask for ? 🙂
