It is safe. If you know how too cook. Problem is, MANY dont know how too. My husband has teflon flu symptoms. I dont. I stay away from the kitchen when he cooks because he only uses high heat and non stick teflon. We finally got rid of them because he does know his heat. We got Ninja stainless steel and ive always cooked in cast iron so i dont get sick. But i knew since early 2000s that those pots are good but not for the mass.

Pretty sure ovens existed before skillets 😁
@TheBarePantryShow5 күн бұрын
The first known use of cast iron cookware was during the Han Dynasty in China, around 220 A.D. The first written historical record of an oven being built refers to an oven built in 1490 in Alsace, France.

Boy…… THAT was fun to watch!!! Masterfully done Barbera. You were holding court!🥳🥳🥳 Reviewing was fun! I’m a “substituter “ because I have a spouse, mom & autistic granddaughter, who need to have menus altered. So, I take the cookbooks, go through & find ways to alter them… using vegan, vegetarian & sometimes meats( rarely), to maximize healthy results, when I cook for them. So, I’ll checkout Margaret’s site. GREAT JOB! 🔥👍🏽🥳🙋🏽♀️

hii just so you know that you need to roast the leaf on the stove first (wipe it with a damp cloth) then for placement add the foil under the leaf. The masa will be on top of the leaf and the leaf will give it the flavour it needs. Hope this helps :)

Thanks for the good video. I'm pretty sure that you wanted to flip that trivet/pan upside down in your pressure cooker. The way you did it doesn't accomplish anything really. You want to raise it from the heat source. Cheers!

@@TheBarePantryShow I'm going to try it today, thank to you. I'm going for the simple boiling method you showed. This is brilliant...why pay a fortune for a chemical filled caramel sauce at the store when you can have this? We struggled with caramel for years at my restaurant. I sure wish we'd have had this secret then. Latinas know their way around Caramel, that's for sure....Cheers!
@TheBarePantryShow8 күн бұрын
@@thomasclendening2664 Hey Thomas, I'm not latin, but that's cool. I've always wondered how the get the milk to be caramelized in the store bought ones as I'm sure they don't boil them like I did here. The must cook the milk on the stove top than can them. Either way, they aren't good. They always seemed burnt to me.
