pro tip --- duct tape along the top and bottom to keep it together before you unscrew it so you don't have to worry about it coming apart. Blue tape works great for it also.

I bought one for my Compass 2018. It is mounted in Romania, Europe and everything works perfectly. I hope it will be more resistant than the original one. I will return with opinions after a period of use.😊

Awesome PRODUCT and awesome tutorials! Spot on. I was so nervous taking this on, that i let the new screen sit in the unopened box for weeks after arrival. Finally dug in today after watching both videos twice. I checked each step 3 times to make the install went correctly on my 2017 XTS. FINALLY after 1.5 years of dealing with phantom touches, while never responding to my touch, my car went into nanny mode with the silly "dont take your eyes off the road" screen. Since the OK button was inoperable, my car was stuck there. Final straw. Took on this tutorial today, and it works perfectly. Thank you! I hope you folks sell a million of these.

I replaced the screen a few days ago. Looks great and no more glitches. BUT CarPlay has completely stopped working when I plug the phone in with a USB cable. The USB ports won't even charge my phone or a set of headphones. It's like the ports are now dead. Anyone else have this problem? Did I forget to attach something before reinstalling the deck? @cuescreens

I just installed the CueScreen in my SRX. Absolutely fabulous product and is working as the original! The video is bang on and if you take your time and are patient, this installation will go well. Watch the video a few times and have it with you when you take everything apart, including the trim on the car. Thank you very much for saving everyone a pile of money. The dealer here in Canada wanted $2250+Tax for this installation with the screen. I would give you 10 stars if I could!!!!

The leather console pieces will not budge! I have the pry tools (and physical strength), but I'm pulling on these sooo hard and they're not breaking loose. I'm afraid something is going to break with as much force as I'm using. Both the right and left side. Any ideas for me? Thanks!

Just had my UConnect screen go out completely my 2018 Ram Laramie 1500...no delam of the screen...just black. The dealership said "a component was defective in the radio" but they wouldn't say any more...other than the fact it's going to be $1000 to replace the "radio" (payable immediately upfront) and a 1 month wait for the "radio" to come in. Only the screen is dead. The radio, telephone, etc. works fine. Would this screen replacement work or could it actually be a "radio" issue?

Got a screen from you guys installed and it’s black nothing works what so ever. My antenna cables are damanged also, please help I’ve gone through ribbon cables multiple times they are in correct.

Awesome video! Thanks so much as this was exactly what I needed to find. Took me about 45 minutes because I’m no ninja at getting behind the screen while hitting the windshield. Best advice came from the comments that you don’t have to remove the motherboard from the LCD screen. You just need to remove the bottom fat ribbon and the other two small ones can stay attached to the LCD. Touchscreen worked great afterwards and everything!

Just finished mine and wanted to say that the video is excellent. Thank you!. However, I do have a couple tips that helped me. I first followed the instructions and only loosened the screws that he references at about the 5-minute. Mark. However, when I went to put it back together I found I had an alignment problem and that had to do with the compartment being under the washer on those screws. I noticed this because I did an alignment check of the door prior to putting it back together. Had I not done that alignment check, I would have ran into problems later. Consequently, I can't recommend enough that you ensure the door closes fully with no Gap before reinstalling the back cover. That's when I decided that I was better off completely removing those two screws and then putting them back when reinstalling the compartment After I did that, it aligned perfectly.

Just installed it in my 2013. Thank you, t's like I have a new car again. For those attempting this, I think what he did in the video to make things look smooth was that he took rhe metal clips out and put it back together without the clips before he filmed it. So just be aware that it is going to require more force to get the top piece and the lower piece out than he is using in the video. I also found it also helped to pull on the rear of the black cup holder and release it before removing the lower piece.

If your screen does this, absolutely easy to do and Soooo worth the time to save major $$$. Amazing job.

Trying to install the screen onto a 2016 escalade everything is connected, the ribbon with the black face up and tab outwards the screen wont even turn on, if I flip it around the screen will turn on but the touch screen wont work. Am I doing something wrong or did I get a defective unit?

Una pregunta, tengo una grand Cherokee 2015 que no tiene cámara de reversa, le instalaron una pero alos 3 meses empezó a fallar con pantalla negra aveces me funciona y aveces no me dijeron que el problema es la radio , al cambiar esto solucionará el problema?

I used one of these screens and everything is great EXCEPT the display isn’t centered on the screen. It’s roughly 1/4” to the left. The button clicks line up center, but the entire display is shifted to the left and I have tried everything to try and center it and cannot find a solution.

I guess I am a latecomer. I just did this job this afternoon. Not quite as easy as you all make it look but not difficult either. I had the most trouble getting the unit unplugged. I had 4 plugs but the top one on the driver side gave me fits because it would not release and unlike in you video, on a 2015 ATS, it is hard to get your hands behind the and get a sightline to see what you are doing. Also the trim pieces did not release as easy as it seemed to show. On the video. Once inside, I found mine to be a bit different from the unit in the video but they were minor differences. This video made the job easily doable with a little patience.

I just bought this on Amazon. It’s been installed but sometime the screen get too hot and shuts off. I don’t like that.
