Yo. I got a curved KTC 27 inch 170hz 2k monitor with a Xbox Series S. The thing is that the screen/letters on screen seem a little blurry and don’t really know why, i made all the changes in the monitor settings aswell as Xbox. Someone got any tips?

I bought the evanlak hdmi emulator but cant view content like youtube or netflix,, with this hdmi to display port can you still watch them without issues

Xbox S + Acer Predator X34 and it didn't work for me. Feels like good quality cable but with this combo didn't work, time for a new monitor purchase I think.

You are so lucky that your pc didn’t break because of the static electricity caused when peeling it off you should of peeled it off when the pc was turned off

I noticed with these adapters I got less input lag than the hdmi cable. Included with the Xbox, weird.

I’ve been using this for well over a month, getting 1440p at 120fps, as of today I can no longer get 120 fps to work, I switched the series to play on a tv, when I switched back to my monitor is when the problems started, I’m down bad.

Try a full shutdown on the Xbox first (system, power menu, full shutdown). Then reboot and double check settings and that allow 4k is unchecked.

@@ChringyTechTalk thanks for the reply, will try later and let you know what happens, at first the option to change refresh rate wasn’t even popping up, but then i realized i was in dvi, when i switched to hdmi the refresh option came up, but every time i choose 120hz it goes back to 60 after a short black screen

@@ChringyTechTalk I think I did, maybe not, but that’s where the issue started, I hooked my series back up to a tv on turned 4k on, when I switched back to the monitor that’s when the issues came up

@@ChringyTechTalk phew, I figured it out, strangely enough it wasn’t the hard reset or turning off 4k(I couldn’t have that on anyways cause my monitor is 1440p), what fixed the problem was choosing auto detect instead of dvi or hdmi, as soon as I did that picking 120hz worked instead of reverting to 60hz, thank you so much for all the help and replies dude 👍👍

I have a Astro A40 mic and the Xbox series x and since the x wont support it I bought a Astro adapter and for it to work the hdmi would have to go to the Xbox into the adapter instead of my monitor if I do this would I still get 120 with 1440 or no? Because I heard some people say no and some say yes.

Bro i have a 1440p monitor 165hz , but it doesnt work , if i do the 1440p it goes down to 60 fps , and when i try 1080p its go up to 120hz

I know this video is 2 years old now but do you enable PC RGB or leave as Standard, Also 8bit or 10bit? Thanks

Standard. As far as 8bit vs. 10 bit...depends on your monitor. Most likely 8 bit (if your using the G32QC, it's 8 bit). Even some 10 bit monitors are just 8 bit with dithering so 8 bit is a safe bet.
