I own a 2022 Nissan Versa S automatic. Here are the pros & cons I've experienced. PROS: Price. Insane amount of safety features for a base model. Fun to drive. 35 mpg. Hill assist. (Automatic & manual) 60/40 folding rear seats. Automatic only. May not come standard in any models past 2022? Relatively inexpensive to repair. Huge trunk. Versa's from 2020 & up look great! You can turn off any annoying features. (Lane departure, collision warning, auto headlights) CONS: Jatco CVT transmission. Cue dramatic music. (Automatic only) Does not come with center console. After market available for $50 on a site that starts with A. No folding rear seats. (Manual) Base model sits very low to the ground. If you have problems getting in & out of a Corvette you'll have problems here too. No oil/temperature gauge.

I have the 2024 X5 in Brooklyn Grey w/ M Sport package. I LOVE the X5 ... BUT the climate control system is lacking. I have no idea why BMW has such tiny vents in the center of the dash. I have to put the vent to the highest setting (5) to keep the car cool in the warmer months. Hot days are a challenge.

I drive a white 2019 ES 350 F-Sport. Got it pre-owned last December of 2021. It’s already 2 yrs and 5 mo and I still love it and super reliable! Love this gen of ES❤👌🏼👌🏼

Ugh!! I really want to trade in my 2019 for a new one but i HATE the infotainment system sticking out of the dash and i don't like the storage hump between seats. I like the armrests and the flat storage top for my eggs, takeout, etc.. I'll probably keep mine.

The frontier long bed looks better than Tacoma with long bed. Idk maybe because tacomas are so much more popular that seeing a 6ft bed one looks weird.

What sold me to buy Mitsubishi Outlander 2024? The brand name and the 100% MADE IN JAPAN. Japanese made vehicle are made with meticulous perfection. Their culture of natural hard work and pride gets translated to well made vehicles.

Too bad the DCT is just bad. Lots of issues and even in 2024 MY the DCT is having problems. The car is really ruined by this DCT. And GM killed Camaro with manual Tremec shame. The LS Engine deserves more. The car won't last at all due to the DCT.

Coming from a nissan guy who has owned 3 240sx, 2 300 zx z32, and now have an 07 hr 350z and g37 coupe, I was exited about the new z but then was disappointed.

I love that they keep the shifter. So many cars are moving to the buttons, the mini shifter - the sensors that jerk the wheel if you get closer to the lines on the road

Underpowered and aggravating ride for those using it predominantly on highway, for longer trips, or even around town. Love the V6 but it needs to be more powerful. That was all they needed to change for 2025.

Thank for this great review. I have been trying to decide between a full electric and a plug in hybrid. I live in the UK so would have a similar climate to where you are. I definitely want the twin motor if I go full electric so am a bit worried about the range. Charging points here in the UK, unless you have a Tesla, can be a bit iffy. My biggest worry actually. I love this car until you need parts for it....$300 for an o2 sensor, over 400 for a damn strut.....japan needs to send parts over here. Mine is a 2018....had it since 2019 and parts is always costly...it's like owning Cadillac when it comes to repairs

V6 = NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER. Bring back the v8, drop the price by 25K. This creator only lists price for 2wd so it doesnt look so bad.

I just got the Volvo XC40 Plus yesterday and I'm also not too big of a fan of the brakes but the rides are so smooth and I feel safe and comfortable in it and that's what was most important to me. One other thing I'm not too familiar with is the start/stop feature when you stop at a light and the a/c turns off I'm not too sure how to turn that feature off but once I do I'll be able to enjoy it even more :)

You only superficially mention the drivetrain. I am very concerned about the longevity of the CVT transmission. According to other mechanics they are good for about 100,000 miles - while todays cars typically can run 300,000 or more. Although I know Toyota uses a planetary gearing system, which may be more reliable that the variable pulley (is it?). Toyota drives the rear wheels with one of the electric motors which eliminates the driveshaft to the rear (you don't bother to mention this). That takes some of the load off the engine (and CVT), which helps - but how much? I know that Toyota now make a CVT with one traditional gear for starting out, which then transitions to the CVT as speed increases. This seems like a great idea to take even more load off the CVT. Does this car have that newer transmission? I myself don't know. I was hoping you would mention it. Overall, an OK review, but the majority of it was about convenience features that aren't that important and can easily be found on Toyotas web page.
